At DSN, we've seen firsthand how District Health Information System 2 (DHIS2), stewarded by the HISP Centre at the University of Oslo, can revolutionize governance.

Our deep dive into DHIS2 began with the pivotal Edo State Data for Governance Project, an initiative generously supported by the Gates Foundation. Through this project, DSN harnessed DHIS2 to catalyze digital transformation, improving governance and public service delivery across Edo State.

This foundational work has blossomed into remarkable innovations designed to address real-world challenges.

1. EdoDiDA: Our unified #DHIS2-based data governance platform. This system centralizes data from multiple government agencies (MDAs), fostering streamlined collection, management, and analysis for more informed decision-making.

2. A collection of bespoke #DHIS2 applications:

a. Scenario Planner: Enabling proactive governance through predictive simulations.

b. EdoDiDA Chatbot: Making data accessible and actionable through conversational AI.

c. GeoSpatial App: Bridging the gap between geographic information and health data by syncing ArcGIS with DHIS2.

d. Apache Superset Integration: Bringing rich, advanced data visualizations directly into the DHIS2 interface for deeper insights.
