We are on Twitter now. Our purpose is to educate and advocate to make sure the world doesn’t close their eyes on the innocent Tigrayans facing genocide. We’re here to help stop the #TigrayGenocide.
As hearts, minds, & eyes begin to open & take a stand against the genocide in Palestine, I encourage you to broaden your advocacy to include Tigray along with other Black struggles in places like Congo, Sudan, Haiti, & the U.S. Also Armenia.
These issues are all interconnected.
Tigrayan refugees, who fled genocide to #Sudan, are now facing danger in their place of refuge. The interim government of #Tigray must act urgently and use all available resources to ensure their immediate & safe return. @reda_getachew
The world is allowing the Ethiopian govt to successfully use food as a bargaining tool in #Tigray. And it’s being done in the name of “African solutions to African problems.”
Us Africans can do better than this. Humanity can do better than this.
#Justice4Tigray 💛❤️.

Reports that EDF had to withdraw from Adigrat and that in Aduwa they are surrounded by TDF. Isaias is not learning from his mistakes in Bademe in 1999 when he overextended the EDF beyond Bademe and were the demolished by the Ethiopian Army.
Usually pretty good at keeping intrusive thoughts out but today has been overwhelming.
I just keep thinking: Will I have a mother to go back to in Tigray? Siblings to go back to? What more could I have done to save him? How much longer are we expected to “live” like this?
Extrajudicial killings of innocent civilians have been reported in #waja,Lambadina, korem and Alamata.
#MisganDessie, leader of Fano, who previously vowed to "eradicate Tigrayans."is now saying "As you can see, Alamata is quiet now; there is no one here, not even a single person"
This is precisely why donor countries & @WorldBank should stop funding #Ethiopia’s Abiy regime. Aid is being misused, fueling the war in #Tigray. Could you imagine your home country’s education ministry or health ministry donating to the armed forces for a war effort…?
I have learnt from credible sources team of Russian military advisors helping Eritrean army in its offensive on Tigray. It is not clear if the team is from Wagner.
Russia has a stake in outcome of conflict. If Afewerki prevails that is a big strategic gain for Moscow.
Ethiopia & Eritrea’s govt are doing everything in their power to exterminate Tigrayans.
People in #Tigray are doing everything in their power to defend themselves.
Leaders in the international community are doing everything in their power to ignore & downplay the genocide.
6 million people in Tigray, Ethiopia have been under siege for over 22 months & now again are under attack by Eritrean forces. Peace is the only solution to save lives & livelihoods. We call on governments of Eritrea & Ethiopia to end the war, end the siege & work towards peace.
Remember how no one was screaming #AllLivesMatter til black ppl started saying #BlackLivesMatter?
The same is true for Ethiopians screaming #NoMore. It didn’t start until Tigrayans screamed stop the #TigrayGenocide.
It’s only purpose is to shut down advocacy against genocide.
The reality we living in 💔
My friend from Ukraine and I applied for our family resettlement from a refugee camp. Hers got approved and her family are in US safe but mine got rejected. The respond was resettlement is reserved for only most vulnerable refugees . @Refugees
Journalists are our eyes & ears around the globe. They are on the ground, working to uncover the truth based on facts & evidence. On #WorldPressFreedomDay, we call on world leaders to protect independent journalism, and ensure safe & unfettered access for journalists everywhere.
.@SenatorShaheen: I applaud you for all the work you’ve done & continue to do for women, esp survivors of SGBV. I ask & encourage you to be just as fierce when it comes to women outside of the US such as the 10s + 1000s of women & girls in #Tigray. https://t.co/c87YsEbIWz
They also said this:
“We have no regrets because we did nothing wrong. They kill us only because we are #Tigray|an. So even if they kill us, we still do not regret being who we are.”
I nearly cried… 9 months of #TigrayGenocide & still we remain true to ourselves. Unbreakable.
