Further to my #OsunGuber2026 election night tweet reproduced (Image 4), I still believe that @inecnigeria owes Nigerians clear answers to 3 critical questions:

1. Why did result transmission freeze for nearly 3 hours (20:48 hrs–23:42 hrs ) on the Election night? Why the sudden rush of 236 results in less than 1 minute right after that (Image 1)?
2. Why were 51 polling unit results uploaded ONLY after declaring a winner (Image 2)?
3. Why are 11 polling unit results still missing on IReV even TODAY (Image 3)?

All these attacks against Cardinal are plain nonsense. Cardinal is the most credible and respected Christian leader in Nigeria. His courage, truthfulness and honesty are without comparison. I know him closely.

The outrage is because he did not say “Well, insecurity is not Tinubu’s fault, Poverty is not Tinubu’s fault. Let us keep praying to God for help”.

Cardinal Onaiyekan, wasn’t speaking for Christian’s, he was speaking for Catholics, the very institutions rooting for Peter Obi @PeterObi in fact, likely the institution where Peter Obi also said in 2022 “take back your country “. Therefore , Cardinal is more political than spiritual. And not all catholic members are supporting peter Obi. The president @officialABAT was well within his right to disagree with their assertion as regards Nigeria’s economy based purely on facts, statistics and numbers put into context.

Ironically, the same priest would rebuke their members if the members said “we are suffering or we are poor” they would tell them to rather say “we are doing great and or we are rich even when they are suffering or poor”

There is a body comprising all Christian’s including the Catholics and catholic bishops conference and that body’s position is neutral and should be so, otherwise it is political
