"Because what you're doing is ridiculous", dit-il, alors que clairement c'est lui qui est ridicule.

Non, une Québécoise n'a pas l'obligation de savoir parler une autre langue que la sienne, chez elle. Seul le français est officiel au Québec. En proposant d'aller chercher quelqu'un en mesure d'offrir un service en anglais, elle fait son travail et montre plus de savoir-vivre que celui caché derrière sa caméra.

La vidéo montre d'ailleurs qu'il sait parler français, alors pourquoi s'entêter à forcer quelqu'un qui, si elle semble le comprendre, n'est certainement pas confortable à parler l'anglais? L'arrogance, voilà ce que c'est.

Le Québec est le seul endroit du monde qui soit chez nous, et le français est notre langue. Il y a neuf provinces où l'anglais est la langue commune, celle de tous les jours. Ceux qui tiennent mordicus à vivre dans cette langue n'ont qu'à y déménager.

The way you speak spoken French is simplified and welcoming. I think that’s why Louisiana and Creole speakers maintain the language a bit better.

For kids/people who have no experience with 🇫🇷 I think it’s important to change the curriculum from a structured French to a spoken French first. As a child you learn spoken French so when you get to school, additional details, makes sense. The other way around will always fail.
