#occupational_justice is concerned with mediating, advocating and enabling environments where opportunities of individuals are available and encourages them to engage in occupations that are health promoting, just and meaningful. On the other hand, #injustice is when social conditions or governmental policies interfere with leveraging the necessities to function or harms individuals and their capacities to function. It is also about obstructing them to receive what they deserve or delay equal treatment or opportunities (Robinson, 2016) which are considered as the determinants of occupation (Stadnyk et al., 2010). From a community and societal perspective, occupational injustice is supposed to destabilize the economy by wasting the potential of humans and creating a health burden. This in turn reduces the social consistency by planting the seeds of social unrest and discontent and therefore threaten the sense of safety for individuals (Christiansen & Townsend, 2010). Occupational injustice can also indicate to sorts of patterns that seriously retard the development of children and therefore leads to further health issues or shorten the lifespan of individuals.

Specifically in these circumstances, and what is happening in #Gaza now of #genocide, where the peoples come together by uniting their word to the leaders to support the people of Palestine. Also, most leaders refuse to take action and fulfill the desire of their people. A kind of injustice practice is now happening to people in various parts of the world, where many people have been affected and some are suffering from their inability to perform daily activities as they were previously accustomed to. Which, as we know thanks to our specialization(occupational therapy), will affect individuals’ general health.

as a simple example: as we know ; people do not have to be in the direct recipient of traumatic event (hearing about another person's trauma) can have traumatic influence. and the effect of trauma long term generates mental health problems, general medical disorders, behavioral issues, and occupational participation issues.

From this scientific standpoint, I call on international organizations @WHO #WHO @thewfot #WFOT #WorldOccupationalTherapyDay #WorldOTDay to take action to stop this destruction and genocide of the #Palestinians .
