Last week, our researchers showcased new HIV research at #IAS2026. Dr. Eugene Ruzagira presented findings from the MOBILE MEN trial on PrEP delivery for mobile workers, while Dr. Jonathan Kintosa shared new analyses from the IMPALA trial.

Their work is helping shape evidence to improve HIV prevention and treatment.

The eye could hold the key to detecting diseases long before symptoms appear.

We're proud to be part of the new Africa Oculomics Research Programme that is using AI and retinal imaging to explore earlier detection of cardiovascular, kidney and neurological diseases in African populations.

Today, we welcomed Uganda's Minister of Health, Dr. @CHRISBARYOMUNS1, and @JennyChapman, Minister for International Development and Africa at the @FCDOGovUK, together with @LisaJChesney, British High Commissioner to Uganda, and @DrAyumeCharles, Minister of State for Health, to to see how decades of UK-Uganda collaboration have strengthened capacity in diagnostics, genomics, immunology and clinical research to support outbreak preparedness and global health security.
