RTI reply by @NHAI_Official confirms that the Suchitra–Bowenpally flyover (NH44, Hyderabad) is only 50% complete after 4 years, yet ₹273 crore out of ₹422 crore already paid to the contractor.
👉 No penalties imposed.
👉 New deadline: May 2026.
@NHAI_Official@nhairohyd have listed every excuse possible in the reply — I’ll debunk them one by one.

@JayantBhandari5
You must be shocked seeing the kind of cockroach momentum going on in India right now, considering you always say Indians live like cockroaches and die like cockroaches.
Hello @narendramodi
Thank you for visiting HYD to inaugurate Uppal & Suchitra–Kompally flyovers.
Under @nitin_gadkari, @NHAI_Official & @nhairohyd have worked so “fast” that citizens are still waiting for the flyovers to actually get completed after years.
Truly record-breaking
#SUCHITRAFLYOVER
Even the PILLARS are bleeding for completion.
What was once a decent road is now choked for 3+ years by this half-done structure.
Look at the dumping waste — no timeline, no accountability.
Road maintenance? Don’t even ask. I’ve raised complaints with GHMC, HMDA, NHAI, and Hyderabad Traffic Police — not a single response.
We’re not asking for luxury. Just safe, usable roads.
And I won’t stop until we get them.

Revised completion date you provided for the Suchitra flyover is 31.05.2026
Just a reminder-forget completion, not even a single work activity has resumed yet.
For reference, your RTI reply was given in October 2025, and we are already in March 2026.

Let her live her life. She isn’t breaking any law, she isn’t harming anyone, and she’s well within her constitutional rights.
Instead of moral policing individuals, maybe it’s time you start reporting real issues that actually affect the public.
Media’s job is to question power — not harass citizens for TRPs.

This is not what @nitin_gadkari promised.
But sure, let’s waste more public money on these QR-code stunts so some contractor can make some easy quick money. @NHAI_Official
To enhance transparency and improve ease of travel for National Highway users, NHAI is installing QR code-based information boards on key National Highway corridors in #Bengaluru. These QR boards are currently available on Bengaluru–Nelamangala section of NH-48 and Bengaluru–Kolar–Mulbagal section of NH-75.
By simply scanning the QR code, commuters can instantly access essential details about the National Highway stretch, nearby toll plazas, and wayside amenities. The QR codes also provide quick access to important emergency contacts, including highway patrol teams, engineers, police stations, hospitals, and the National Highway helpline.
This initiative reflects NHAI’s continued efforts to leverage technology for a safer, more informed, and seamless travel experience on National Highways.

Is this what we call development?
Glass buildings + drone shots + night lights?
Where are the roads that don’t flood after one rain?
Where is the drainage planned before construction, not after disasters?
Where is the public transport that actually reduces traffic?
Where is the pollution control when people can’t even breathe clean air?
Why are lakhs of jobs pushed into one tiny pocket of the city?
Why not distribute offices across all sides instead of choking a few roads daily?
Why is infrastructure always an afterthought?
Cities did create economic opportunities, yes, but who paid the price?
Daily commuters. Residents. The poor. The environment.
Is this development… or just unplanned growth sold through drone cameras?

Spray water on AQI machines.
Change the measuring standards.
Air is toxic? No problem -just redefine "clean air"
Exactly how GDP was “recalculated” too.
At this rate, calling India a third-world country is starting to sound optimistic.
Visited a BMW showroom in China to check cars for a friend and was shocked to learn that prices for brand-new cars have dropped up to 40% between April and December 2025.
They list a standard retail price but offer hefty discounts of up to 50% on some models.
In India, however, cars remain very expensive and prices never drop like this; they only increase in the name of taxes. @volklub @BackBenchrz

Why are we busy renaming roads instead of fixing them?
Proper lane markings, smooth surfaces, working signals, drainage, and pedestrian safety matter more than branding.
Names don’t save lives. Good infrastructure does. @revanth_anumula@INCTelangana
What is your opinion on Telangana State Government's proposal to name Important Hyderabad Important roads as:
1. Donald Trump Avenue
2. Google Street
3. Microsoft Road
4. Wipro Junction
5. Tata Interchange

@bandisanjay_bjp Before talking about renaming Hyderabad, maybe use the money already allotted to you.
Your MPLADS record shows:
₹12.4 Cr allocated
Just 16.6% used
Only 4 projects completed out of 461
Fix that first.
Governance > Slogans.

Rename Hyderabad back to Bhagyanagar.
If the Congress government is so eager to change names, they might as well start with something that actually has history and meaning.
What a sad state of affairs we’re living in - one side has #Twittertillu busy making AI statues of KCR who’s very much alive, and on the other is Revanth Reddy renaming places after whoever trends.
Meanwhile, the only party actually stepping out, questioning the government, and taking up real people issues through MahaDharna is the BJP.
Agree with all points except the Cruise Control part.
In my Vento on Hyd ORR, if I manually drive at 80–100 km/h, I get around 15–17 kmpl.
With cruise control set in the same range, mileage jumps to 22–24 kmpl — consistently.
Apart from comfort, cruise control helps maintain steady throttle input, avoid unnecessary acceleration, and improves fuel efficiency.

A few features you can skip when buying a car on a budget:
- Sunroof
- ADAS
- Cruise control
- Wireless charger
- Ventilated seats
What are other "Nice to have but not necessary" features?
