Florida’s Fiscal Year 2026–2027 budget reflects a continued commitment to preparedness, resilience & public safety.
Strong leadership in times of crisis begins with investing in the capabilities, infrastructure & partnerships that protect our communities.
These investments strengthen emergency management across the state & help ensure Florida is prepared to support communities before, during & after disasters. ✨
Over the last seven and a half years, Florida has set the national standard for conservative governance, while breaking record after record in economic strength, education, and environmental stewardship. We’ve delivered billions in tax relief to families while making historic investments in the priorities that matter most to Floridians.
The FY 2026-2027 Budget I signed today reflects the core priorities I laid out from the beginning. This budget protects taxpayers’ interests, cuts spending for the fourth year in a row, and makes meaningful investments to build on Florida’s successes in education, public safety, environmental conservation, infrastructure, cancer research, and more.
I’m proud that Florida continues to serve as the prime example of fiscal responsibility and government that works for the people of our state.
Your disaster plan should include every member of the farm.
🐓 Stock at least 7 days of feed & water
🐐 Keep halters, leads & transport equipment ready for evacuation
🐴 Ensure animals have proper identification, including microchips when appropriate
Preparing today can make all the difference tomorrow.

❓ #DYK? A storm doesn’t always require a long road trip.
When evacuating for a hurricane, think tens of miles, not hundreds.
🏠 In many cases, relocating to a safer nearby area can provide the protection you need while helping you avoid unnecessary travel and traffic delays.
Know your zone. Know your risk. Make a plan.
