We are so excited to announce that, after over 3 years of negotiations, we have come to an agreement with management on a Collective Bargaining Agreement! Here’s some of what’s inside:
1/🧵
As we continue negotiations for a first Collective Bargaining Agreement, we, the Workers at URGE, are standing united with a clear message: we are ready for our Union contract!
Congrats to @BridgespanGroup staff who joined together in union to form @BridgespanUnion! We call on Bridgespan management to voluntarily recognize their staff union. https://t.co/1ZzUdTPwCA
This morning, unionized repro workers sent a message to @ruthrichardsonm and @ppnorthcentral management: stop union busting, reinstate Grace, and bargain a fair first contract with @PPNCSUnited NOW 😤✊ #1u https://t.co/RyT6E8yzcj
Several JTP Workers are not be able to afford JTP services on our wage. How is that acceptable? While we are struggling to pay bills & groceries, others at JTP are able to comfortably live. Is our labor less valuable? Is our contribution not good enough to deserve a living wage?
As people lose their jobs, we’ve got your back as best we can. Apply for our Worker Aid Fund.
Care (for workers). No matter what.

Solidarity with @PPFAUnionDC and @PPFAUnionNYC today as @PPFA proceeds with mass layoffs, without explaining why it is staff who must bear the brunt of this restructuring. Repro workers— including the affiliate workers who are not being consulted on what they need — are watching
📌 Fact: the majority of PPFA national staff, as of last week, were non-union eligible.
📌 Fact: the majority of laid off staff this morning are either in the DC or NY unions.
More updates to come.
