Awesome paper @MeganARech . Put into words what a lot of us have felt. The community of clinical pharmacists in hospital practice is so strong. Even if it is not bedside, our impact will be felt in whichever field we go in, positively impacting patient care one way or another.
Gosh this title 💔
As one of the exodus, hopeful for an evolution of how clin pharms can leverage those in their new roles. The love for patients, the science, that sense of accomplishment & learning from brilliant minds will always remain #TwitteRx https://t.co/AscPLZPZm4
There is (still) more to the story.. response published concurrently in @AJHPOfficial: https://t.co/jsWLh2NIwH
Bottom line: this story still stinks.. EM pharmacists remain under-represented on guidelines/policies and other work products. Let's work together to change this🙌

@karenccrx@keefejm @GilbertPharmD @KeatonSmetana@KLFrx @tigernole13 @neurocritical Really hard to control all the confounding for this kind of outcome IMO.
Would change my insight on this study a lot if actually looked at ICH/bleed as an outcome instead of repeat neurosurgical procedure
@karenccrx@keefejm @GilbertPharmD @KeatonSmetana@KLFrx @tigernole13 @neurocritical Big bone to pick with the surrogate outcome of “repeat surgery”.
Understand limitation of ICD-10 codes they eluded to, but there is a lot of subjectivity from patient to patient in neurosurgical decision making, IMO and in my experience
