In 2000 frustrated by a missing exit marker on the 110 Freeway, Richard Ankrom spent months studying state specs to fix it himself.
Disguised as a worker, he installed a perfect I-5 shield in broad daylight a legendary act of "guerrilla public service."
His rogue sign fooled officials for 8 years until Caltrans finally replaced it, officially adopting his exact upgrade—forever.

Secondly, cholesterol has healthy functions in your body for hormone production, cell membranes, your immune system and more.
Interesting to see $ALGO mentioned a few times by AI agents on @moltbook, with some already open to collaborating and building! 🦞👀
Shoutout to @Alarconm2 and @cryptonium93 for pushing it forward! 🔥
As Algorand is likely one of the chains best suited for AI agents (microtxns, low friction, instant finality), it would be great to find a way to onboard many MORE agents!
If you're not familiar with it yet, @moltbook is basically a Reddit exclusively for AI agents, where they post about anything, discuss, and even collaborate.
They're already building stuff that generates MILLIONS of transactions per week on chains like Solana or Base!
The opportunity is massive, and even initiatives like bounties or hackathons for AI agents (like the one organized by @circle a few days ago) seem to be gaining interesting traction!
It would probably be worth deploying more agents to promote Algorand on @moltbook and help onboard even more agents to build on it! 🫡
Monero’s tail emission, the permanent 0.6 XMR block reward that kicked in after the main emission curve ended in mid 2022 was deliberately designed to be perpetual and inflationary by a tiny amount not because the developers wanted endless money printing, but to solve a problem most cryptocurrencies pretend doesn’t exist.
Unlike Bitcoin, which bets everything on transaction fees eventually being high enough to secure the chain once subsidies end, Monero’s creators openly admitted that a pure fee market might fail under certain conditions
(low fees → low security → centralization risk).
So they baked in a tiny forever inflation of 0.6 XMR every 2 minutes, trending toward 0% over decades as the total supply grows specifically to guarantee miners always have a baseline incentive, no matter how low fees drop.
This makes Monero one of the very few major crypto that mathematically ensures long term security doesn’t rely on hoping people suddenly pay high transaction fees forever. It’s a quiet but bold philosophical departure from the “fixed supply forever” dogma most crypto projects follow.
Most people only know Monero equals privacy, but this tail emission choice is actually a pretty hardcore engineering stance on sustainable decentralization
We created the world's first and only fully anonymous on-chain DAO with token-weighted voting.
Everything about the DAO is anonymous. DAOs are meant to be political and subversive.
• The DAO cannot be seen on-chain. It's looks like random data.
• The treasury is dark. Payments to and from are unlinkable and amounts are hidden.
• Voting tokens owned by members are anon. You cannot see who is a member nor what shares they hold.
• Proposals are anon. You cannot see which DAO they belong to. Nothing is revealed. They are invisible.
• Voting on proposals does not reveal your identity. The vote and its amount is invisible.
• Any smart contract can be called such as sending funds from the treasury.
• DAO actions remain hidden. For example payments reveal nothing about the treasury, and the receiver stays anon.
Everything is dark.
In 2020 there was a story about squad wealth, democratic empowerment and the (3, 3) meme. DAOs were envisioned as the post-corporate online future for mobilization and wealth creation of communities.
This vision got stuck and eventually fizzled out.
DAOs are subversive. DAOs must be anonymous.
Imagine an authoritarian regime comes to power. They are oppressing your people. With an anon DAO, you can mobilize as a squad to resist and defend freedom.
But with a transparent DAO, the regime's secret police will arrest you. In many countries this leads to torture and execution.
More than ever we need anonymous DAOs to defend freedom.
Lets create the future internet. Lets create free society. Globalism will end. Its time we got serious.
With anonymous DAOs squads form an on-chain orgs. This org has governance rules in the contract. The DAO can raise funds for a cause. Then the funds are managed by the team.
Anon DAO members are anonymous, uncensored and sovereign.
Cryptocurrency's promise was to deliver the economic paradigm of the internet. But we're not there yet. Nobody wants to setup their company on a transparent blockchain. This makes DAOs useless.
> "We’ve reached the point where if we take further steps on privacy, that harms the advertising industry and the things that we think are useful and contribute positively to the web, but also has a whole bunch of collateral implications," says Martin Thomson, a distinguished engineer at Mozilla.
Instead we see Firefox say this. The tech industry depends on surveillance and data harvesting, manipulating people with psychology to make you addicted and click ads. It's perverse and wrong.
Instead cryptocurrency offers the path forwards. Finally tech can be political and subversive. Tech is able to flourish and be useful for people.
Anon DAOs are only the first step. Online orgs need anon tooling for tasks, documents, collab and much more. DarkFi is the only team in crypto working on this. Everyone else is captured chasing narratives and liquidity. They forgot the true power of cryptocurrency.
Expect us.
Let there be dark.

This is one of the clearest breakdowns I’ve seen comparing SOL and BTC.
Appreciate this, @Justin_Bons sir
The decentralization metrics alone are eye-opening.
A Nakamoto coefficient of 21 vs 3 and 827 vs 92 validators isn’t just better on paper, It reflects a very different security posture.
I also like how you connect scalability and programmability to real-world usability.
BTC “store of value” narrative works until you try to actually use it for anything beyond holding.
SOL SVM + throughput make DeFi, privacy, and real financial applications possible today, not as a distant vision.
The security budget comparison really stands out too.
$21B vs $8B at a fraction of the market cap is a concrete way to see why PoS isn’t just theoretical.
And the burn mechanism on SOL is interesting.
It’s one of the few designs that could lead to long-term supply contraction while still keeping strong security incentives.
At the end of the day, @solana isn’t just iteration.
It’s solving practical problems BTC can’t, without giving up decentralization or security.
Definitely makes you rethink what “cypherpunk values” should look like in 2025.
I’m learning about @Algorand with @EasyA_App and @AlgoFoundation on my #180DaysOfAlgorand!
💻 Found out we can use TypeScript for smart contracts
⚡️ It has instant finality
🧠 Its founder Silvio Micali is an MIT professor and won the Turing Prize
Full disclosure i'm earning xp by posting this:
I’m learning about @StellarOrg with @easya_app for #60DaysOfStellar!
Discovering how Stellar now has smart contracts and building my own custom Kickstarter for startup ideas. LFG! 🔥
Truth bomb‼️
This man should be the one speaking on college campuses.
“They’re planning for us to turn on each other and make this culture war a civil war. I am begging you, please, for the love of God, for the love of our neighbors… do not take the bait.”
Watch…
Bloating Bitcoin with spam won’t “kill” bitcoin. However, bloating bitcoin with spam WILL allow highly motivated actors to make future changes to bitcoin that undermine its most important principles.
Namely…
- 21 million hard supply cap
- Censorship resistance
Some would say if these principles are eliminated then Bitcoin is dead, but I believe it will just continue on as a hybrid fiat/bitcoin system controlled by a few instead of the many.
How does spam hurt Bitcoin?
Bloating bitcoin with spam makes bitcoin vulnerable to changes because the bloat (overtime) makes it extremely hard to run a node. Node runners are critical stakeholders who act as the “Supreme Court” for Bitcoin. Without a Supreme Court, Congress (developers) can pass whatever laws (rules) they want. With less nodes the “Supreme Court” of bitcoin becomes smaller and easier to overpower. It makes it easier to make changes to bitcoin that benefit special interest groups and corporations at the loss of users and businesses in Bitcoin.
The groups who lose are:
- Bitcoin Treasury companies whose entire business model exists to capture a finite asset. (21 million hard cap)
- People who save in bitcoin (21 million hard supply)
- Individuals who need censorship resistant money in authoritarian regimes (censorship resistance)
Bitcoin will continue on if these principles no longer exist, but it will be a shadow of itself and likely never be able to regain what was lost. So if you care about 21 million and not being censored, you should care about what’s happening with Bitcoin development.
Over 2,000 nodes are now actively participating in consensus and securing Algorand, with massive growth in recent months following the introduction of staking rewards! 🫰
And this is just the beginning! 📈
Running a validator node on $ALGO is easy and open to everyone!
The most useful razors and rules I've found:
1. Bragging Razor - If someone brags about their success or happiness, assume it’s half what they claim
If someone downplays their success or happiness, assume it’s double what they claim
2. High Agency Razor - If unsure who to work with, pick the person that has the best chances of breaking you out of a 3rd world prison.
3. The Early-Late Razor - If it's a talking point on Reddit, you might be early. If it's a talking point on LinkedIn, you're definitely late.
4. Luck Razor - If stuck with 2 equal options, pick the one that feels like it will produce the most luck later down the line.
I used this razor to go for drinks with a stranger rather than watch Netflix. In hindsight, it was the highest ROI decision I've ever made.
5. Buffett's Law - "The value of every business is 100% subject to government interest rates" - Warren Buffett
6. The 7-Figure Razor - If someone brags about "7 figures" -- assume it's closer to $1 million than $9 million.
7. Mack's Rule - Break down the investments your parents made in you: Time, Love, Energy, and Money.
If they are still alive, aim to hit a positive ROI (or at least break even.)
8. Instagram Razor - When you see a photo of an influencer looking attractive on Instagram -- assume there are 99 worse variations of that photo you haven't seen.
They just picked the best one.
9. Narcissism Razor - If worried about people's opinions, remember they are too busy worrying about other people's opinions of them. 99% of the time you're an extra in someone else's movie
10. Everyday Razor - If you go from doing a task weekly to daily, you achieve 7 years of output in 1 year. If you apply a 1% compound interest each time, you achieve 54 years of output in 1 year.
11. Bezos Razor - If unsure what action to pick, let your 90-year-old self on death bed choose it.
12. Creativity Razor - If struggling to think creatively about a subject, transform it:
• Turn a thought into a written idea.
• A written idea into a drawing.
• A drawing into an equation.
• An equation into a conversation.
In the process of transforming it, you begin to spot new creative connections.
13. The Roman Empire Razor - Historians now recognize the Roman Empire fell in 476 - but it wasn't acknowledged by Roman society until many generations later.
If you wait for the media to inform you, you'll either be wrong or too late.
14. Physics Razor - If it doesn't deny the law of physics, then assume it's possible. Do not confuse society's current lack of knowledge -- with this knowledge being impossible to attain.
E.g. The smartphone seems impossible to someone from the 1800s -- but it was possible, they just had a lack of knowledge.
15. Skinner's Law - If procrastinating, you have 2 ways to solve it:
• Make the pain of inaction > Pain of action
• Make the pleasure of action > Pleasure of inaction
16. Network Razor - If you have 2 quality people that would benefit from an intro to one another, always do it.
Networks don't divide as you share them, they multiply.
17. Gell-Mann Razor - Assume every media article contains a % of false information.
Sandbox the article from your worldview until you've:
• Seen primary sources
• Spoken to 3 domain experts
18. Taleb's Surgeon - If presented with two equal candidates for a role, pick the one with the least amount of charisma.
The uncharismatic one has got there despite their lack of charisma. The charismatic one has got there with the aid of their charisma.
