@Spottingthespot@SciTotEnv@Uni_Wuppertal@ElsevierConnect Having (corrupt) editors in a new journal is another way of fraudulent practice. Along with paper mills, these fraud editors should be black listed. @Clarivate and @COPE should come up with plans to preserve scientific integrity.
@Spottingthespot@WikiCommons All of his connections have inflated citations for their age or academic experience. One such example is Sanjay MR has close to 30,000 citations with an h-index of 87.
@Spottingthespot@Anamika12411@ukm_my@chettinad_univ@ChandigarhUniv1 I agree with you. But he has around 10 affiliations so far. I doubt if he is still working there?. I feel, he is running this lucrative paper milling business without any actual affiliation to the institutes/universities.
@Spottingthespot@Anamika12411@ukm_my@chettinad_univ@ChandigarhUniv1 Its a govt university, i will check with malaysian researchers. I will them about this fraud as well. He is using ukm_my as a bait or an escape route. In one of his retracted paper, the notification did mention about his Malaysian affiliation, later he changed the affiliation.

India's research crime is getting worse. Scientists are gaming peer review system: International watchdogs are flagging India as a top producer of ‘low-quality and fraudulent’ research. Last year, India ranked behind only China and the US. https://t.co/5aVVYnyyzV
Very happy to see that the Cochrane Library @cochranecollab is now using the Retraction Watch Database to flag retracted papers.

Some familiar names in this article👇. The fight against publication fraud is lost. Only a immense change in mentality and procedure by publishers will have an effect!
