Major Action in Gujarat!

The Gujarat Food Safety Department conducted surprise raids at two godowns uncovering serious food safety violations.

Over 26 tonnes of fennel seeds (saunf) worth ₹19.6 lakh suspected to be adulterated with non-permitted inedible colours, were seized.

ACTION against adulteration continues! The #UttarPradesh Food Safety Department orders closure of spice manufacturing unit in Lucknow after inspection.
The food safety team also seized adulterated materials & collected samples for laboratory testing.
