Ask the youth thought provoking questions. Teach them to use reason. Show them obvious flaws in Bible during studies. Make a difference before you're shown the door.

In children's church, we were bribed with a 3 ft long candy bar for whoever could memorize the most bible verses. (It was a yard stick with candybars taped to it) I wish they would have done this in science class.

When did "sugar coating" become an unpopular quality? I hear all the time "I don't sugar coat.." said with pride. The fact is some pills are hard to swallow, and a little sugar coating can make all the difference.

I feel like this type of shit is very detrimental to the person being subjected to it, regardless if it is their choice or not.

Abused people will choose to continue to be abused because that's what they think they deserve. I intimately know this for a fact.
