She has been awarded one of the inaugural Postdoctoral Fellowships in Focused Ultrasound to continue her work on the effects of combined Focused Ultrasound and Radiation Therapy in the brain.

The Foundation is pleased to announce @steciamarie, PhD, and Dezhuang (Summer) Ye, PhD, as the inaugural recipients of the Postdoctoral Fellowships in Focused Ultrasound. This initiative aims to support postdoctoral researchers' transition into faculty positions, emphasizing groundbreaking work in focused ultrasound technology.

Dr. Fletcher, of the Focused Ultrasound Laboratory at @BrighamWomens and @harvardmed, will advance her research on MRI-guided focused ultrasound for therapeutic delivery and thermal and mechanical ablation in the brain. Dr. Ye, from @WUSTL, will explore the use of focused ultrasound to enable glymphatic clearance for treating Alzheimer’s disease.
