Word of advice for #Brewers fans right now. Don't bother with trolls. They are miserable right now and are trying to make you miserable with them.
Just cheer on the Brewers, let them handle what they have to handle, and worry about the rest if they finish the deal.
@TMORGANorderly@ianmSC ....and then the Automated Check/Swing system calls every bat more than 0.005° past parallel to the front of home plate a swing, which would include this one (almost parallel to the 1st Base line)
The Rays are learning the same lesson the Padres and Dodgers learned…if you don’t step on the Brewers neck when you have them down they will get up and punch you in the mouth.
@BenVerlander I think it's a swing. I also think that some fans would rather be mad at the officials for calling it a swing than be mad at the rays for giving up 5 unanswered runs to lose the game.
@iJordanMoore Automated system is going to call alot more swings than not, including this. The tip of his bat was pointing somewhere in the outfield in fair territory when he pulled back. It was totally a swing.
@Igotburners If this is my only reference and I have no view of the plate, the baseline, or even the catcher, I call this a swing because the bat moved forward of the one reference I have, the buttons on his uniform. The bat moved forward of them.
@JosieAve Only the 2nd appearance in Franchise history, first time in my lifetime, yeah, lol. They feel like a team of destiny, but this feels very different from the VGK run a few years ago.
