This is Lorena and Rabeek.
Lorena came to India from Australia as a tourist and met Rabeek, her taxi driver at Madurai Airport.
They spent 3 hours together on a taxi ride.
They talked, connected and became friends.
Soon, friendship turned into love.
Rabeek was Muslim. Lorena was Catholic. Their families opposed the relationship, but they stood by each other.
They eventually got married in India under the Special Marriage Act.
Then they welcomed a baby girl, Maryam.
Today, they continue building their life between Australia and India.
