Neighbors have put mattresses and plexiglass up in their windows to block the noise from this data center in Virginia.
It's a high pitched whine from the natural gas turbines that power it.
The noise never stops 24/7.
Every corner of Norfolk County has its own way of bringing people together, and last weekend that was on full display. From farmers markets to Juneteenth celebrations, to a flag retirement ceremony in Wellesley and Milton Pride, it's been a privilege to spend time with the people who make this county what it is. (Also *very* excited to be the newest member of the Canton Garden Club!)
There will be no apology, Jon, although one would certainly come from anyone with an ounce of integrity.
The poor woman is wrong on a daily basis but reacts to anyone pointing that out by doubling down on her self-righteousness. It’s the only thing she knows.
A lot of people are still waiting for her to apologize for publicly and proudly announcing that she “stands with Proctor.” But I suspect we will see Godot or the Messiah before we ever hear an apology for her. Whatevs.
Start calling it exactly what it is:
Colin Albert and Allie McCabe's claimed ALIBI does not align with the data and information currently available.
An alibi is a legal defense in which a person claims they were somewhere else, not at the scene of a crime, when the alleged offense occurred.
A screenshot of an alleged text message should not be accepted as fact, especially when there is no supporting metadata to authenticate when it was sent, received, or whether it has been altered.
The timeline also raises serious questions. If Colin Albert was picked up from 34 Fairview at approximately 12:10 AM, and Chris Albert left the Waterfall Bar around 12:14 AM, their testimony about when they each arrived home does not appear to align with what would reasonably be expected based on those departure times.
If Allie McCabe drove directly home after dropping Colin Albert off, as she testified, her Life360 data should reflect her passing the high school at approximately 12:15 AM - 12:20 AM. That location is not reflected on Jen McCabe's Life360 report.
Likewise, Allie McCabe's vehicle would be expected to appear on the Canton Public Library, Town Hall, Cassie's Corner Store, and Temple camera footage between approximately 12:15 AM and 12:20 AM. According to her testimony, she drove straight home after dropping Colin off. Yet her vehicle does not appear on any of those cameras. The Temple camera, for example, records continuously, making the absence of her vehicle particularly noteworthy.
An alibi is only as credible as the evidence supporting it. When the timeline, digital data, and available video evidence cannot be reconciled with the claimed alibi, it is reasonable to question whether that alibi is accurate.
Juston Root’s family wants to know why Conneely was allowed to use force again if he was already under investigation for using excessive force.
“He should definitely not have been working,” said Jennifer Root Bannon, Juston’s sister. “You have video evidence from the cameras on the highway. You know what he did.”
MORE MID-MORNING NOTES: Here are some important points concerning the weather across Alabama today....
*There are no active tornado warnings in Alabama as of 10:22a CT.
*A tornado watch remains in effect for Southwest Alabama until 5p CT. The watch will likely be extended eastward into the eastern part of South Alabama later today.
*Tornadoes with tropical systems like this are usually short lived and low topped. Providing warnings for them is difficult, if not impossible. It pretty much a game of "whack a mole". Just be aware of this today. Alabama is served by four different NWS offices, and they all have a somewhat different philosophy when it comes to handling situations like this.
But just know that a brief tornado could get down today in a few spots with no warning. And, in many cases by the time a tornado warning is issued, the tornado has already dissipated.
*Flooding is the primary concern, and mainly over the southern half of the. Some spots could see over 5 inches of rain. A few 10 inch totals are possible over Mobile and Baldwin counties. A flood watch is in effect for the southern 2/3 of the state, basically from I-20 south.
*Watch the Alabama Weather Network for live coverage.
The pattern of hiding is undeniable:
1. Chloe is gone and has never been seen again. Just producing Chloe would give them some credibility. Hiding.
2. No chain of evidence. Hiding.
3. After 18 to 20 months, the CW magically produced taillight fragments in John’s clothes. Hiding.
4. The CW never cross tested DNA found with people at the house. Hiding.
5. Colin is currently hiding at boot camp.
6. Brian Albert hid in his house at 6am.
7. Jen McCabe tried to hide from the FBI by claiming she was her sister.
8. Chris Albert hid when he killed a man.
9. Judge Connolly hid Michael Easter and Mark Bederow.
10. Shanon Burgess tried to hide that he didn’t even have a bachelors degree.
11. Colin was hidden from initial police reports.
12. Brian Higgins and Brian Albert literally hid what was in their phones by destroying them. Against a court order.
13. Cannone frequently sustained objections to hide testimony, particularly from ARCCA experts.
What am I missing?

I have said all along that Judge Gildea will not be the judge to play favorites. He is, without a doubt, the type of judge who will challenge all attorneys. Frankly, he is a judge who makes an attorney better at his craft.
This is what we saw in the hearing. Unfortunately, the first part of Rosenberg's argument was not aired (which I am unclear why as the camera was rolling).
That being said, there was a stark difference to how he handled Rosenberg's issues vs Tuxbury's. He made it clear to both parties of issues with their filings, their subpoena and his overall opinion of the Colin Albert issue. He doesn't want to see anymore unnecessary background information in filings and for all attorneys to "stop pandering to social media".
But.. he let Rosenberg argue and gave him an opportunity on every question to explain. Tuxbury wasn't awarded that luxury.
As you can see where the video picks up, the very first question to Tuxbury was "when can you produce your client for the deposition?" No probing regarding his 109 page opposition. Gildea didn't care. Simply, when can he show.
That, in my opinion, is much more damning and shows us as a public that pushing off depositions, even as a non-party, will not fly in this court.
Proctor lost. Colin lost. Guess who will lose next on this?
George Pino’s trial is in the stretch run with only the jury instruction conference and closing arguments remaining before the jury begins deliberations.
If you’ve been watching…do you think the State has met its burden on either count?
