Former footballer Henrik Larsson has revealed in an interview with The Guardian that he never truly felt he belonged in Sweden.

Larsson, whose father is from Cape Verde and whose mother is Swedish, said he was one of the few Black children at his school, where he was frequently subjected to racist abuse and often had to fight to defend himself.

Despite making 106 appearances for the Swedish national team, Larsson said: “I see myself as a foreigner. To be honest, I don't know what I am. I know I've played 106 games for Sweden, but I've never felt 100% Swedish.”

Larsson added: “It was only after I became successful in football that I started to feel Swedish. When you're nobody, you don't matter. Once you become somebody, you become part of society. That's when people forget where you come from and the colour of your skin.”

• An audio ballistic analysis that identified the exact weapon and the firing distance.

• A 10-day-old baby was shot in the head while breastfeeding in his mother's tent in Nuseirat. Named. Dated. The bullet was analysed.

He calls this "unverified" with "nothing connecting the dots." The report cross-references every source and authenticates it with geolocation, metadata and forensic imaging.
