@evans_jon26786 @LeicsCountyBike@BriggsCampaign You're right it does stoke the fire, but equally it shouldn't if the video shows a crime. I think a lot of people post videos when they've been let down by the police.
Also the awareness of you don’t know who is watching & filming so drive safely around people on bikes.
“Thats great, but what about the 1498 done by knife, are we going to do anything about that?”
“PURE WHATABOUTARY!! YOU BOW & ARROW USERS JUST DON’T WANT TO TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY”
“1500 people have been murdered this year, 1498 of them by knife, two of them by bow & arrow. We must do something to stop all these murders and keep everyone safe”
MSM: “bow & arrow murderers flooding our streets”
“We must clamp down on these bow & arrows.”
@IanSpeed2 @primrose4@MPIainDS No, and nobody is saying that. But when murders by knife outnumber murders by bow & arrow by about 1000-1, you would think more focus would be put on stopping murders by knife than murders by bow & arrow.
If you forced all these 'dangerous' cyclists off their bikes and into their cars, you would have an incredibly small and insignificant number of extra cars on the road, because there are so few.
“If you forced all these ‘dangerous’ cyclists off their bikes into their cars, then that is going to increase the level of danger on everyone else, it’s not going to decrease it.” @MartinPorter6 joins us for the latest episode of the pod. https://t.co/ckqjQIGRXY #cycling
Not sure who needs to hear this but:
People are angry with this new dangerous cycling law not because they are reckless cyclists, but because it does absolutely nothing to make the roads any safer for anyone. Similar laws exist for motorists and they kill 5 people a day.

🚨 This may look like I am in a new crime drama with Sir Iain Duncan Smith...
But it is our investigation into cycling near Regents Park.
Using a speed gun we found some cyclists exceed the 20mph limit for cars, with @MPIainDS calling for a change in the law.
@LBC
@cambridge_peter @GaryConroy76@leeroyjones73 Not quite. Theyare heavily subsidised by taxpayers who don't drive a car. If they had to pay the real cost of their motoring, they wouldn't do so much of it.
