@firstfruitsapp Current app I'm working towards is similar to this approach. It's in the baby niche and working towards referral programs. Will be a fun experiment and hoping it can scale
Spent today building the boring layer. Data pipes from RevenueCat and App Store Connect into S3 buckets.
It’s a step back as I plan to build faster. This will act as my data and intelligence layer later.
@VadimYuryev So when I was doing research (with Claude) it made it seem like since this is a consumer loan, the business expense isn't applicable here.
@andi_losing Love this tip and you’re right can’t take the immediate cancels personally.
Honestly the few days later ones hurt more. Shows that we were missing something or didn’t prove value which is good data.
@TerekhinIvan Nice not a bad month at all! Interesting on the price adjustments and the user behaivor.
I’m curious how you manage your time across the portfolio. Is it an 80/20 rule into the Sober Tracker app where the most revenue is? Or more peanut butter spread across all of them?
@petersapps@athcanft Looking good. I totally agree it’s equivalent to day trading vs long term investing.
Yeah you’ll have some good swings with the viral apps but it’s not predictable or sustainable
Target Audience lesson learned. My app was focused on a certain profession and recently discovered that over 55% of my customers were outside my target.
Good shift in the onboarding flow this week to help further expand my demand.
My first app gaining momentum I noticed some low conversion rates despite high intent.
My first test was adjusting when the paywall was being shown in the onboarding and happy to say it's paid off so far.
Currently at ~$700 of revenue this month
