Is it normal for the care team to wait days to tell a patient about what this text on their chart means?

Last Wed, my mother went to a major university hospital for #endoscopy. She was discharged, no info, no follow-up. 5 days later, no feedback, we check her #patientPortal and learn she has adenocarcenoma. time stamp of finding =one hour before her discharge. Now what?
Wouldn't it be nice if there's a #news channel that focuses primarily on feel-good and positive news stories? But then, would anyone actually tune in? #positivity#GoodNews#justthinking
#Rats are gross! Yet there are scores of them living among us. But they're not as gross as you think. Read on for more as @urban_ecology_ explains why we should try harder to understand them.

Congratulations to my husband, @Urban_Ecology_ , and colleagues for another progressive #UrbanRatResearch paper! It would be interesting to see #wildRats used, esp. in #basicScience research, to supplement/validate studies on domesticated #labRats.

@forevermymoon I just realized most of the fantasy books I've read are YA. Have you tried Janet Evanovich's series starting with Wicked Appetite? Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series is also highly rated but i haven't read it, the fantasy aspect is more about time travel.
@forevermymoon@TamoraPierce@arden_katherine @marissa_meyer Got it. It's interesting how some books tagged as YA almost crosses into the adult romance realm. Do you prefer series or standalone?
Don’t know who needs to hear this, but data analysis does not become easier by calling it data science, (machine) learning, modeling or artificial intelligence
I did not provide the quote that seems to have been attributed to me in this article. It represents a fundamental misunderstanding of our results.

Its been a busy summer. We've been diving into #nycopendata to understand the #Rats emergence during #socialdistancing due to the #COVID19#pandemic. We need more #opendata from other cities, and better ways to track rat movement

Over? > 3 months later we are STILL admitting new patients with COVID-19 to our CICU AND still taking care of COVID survivors. Stay alert 👏🏾 👀. Masks, testing, contact tracing, isolate, & contain-vital now more than ever. Let’s not repeat our mistakes. @RanuDhillon@DrTomFrieden
