Code reviews are stupid. They should go away.
There are a thousand ways better to transfer knowledge in a team. If you want good code, use computers to review it, not people.
Code reviews will be one of the first areas we'll automate using AI.
I work with the @coderabbitai team. During the last six months, they have been the most installed code review application in the GitHub marketplace.
As of right now, their tool has reviewed more than 90,000 open-source pull requests, and it's growing.
If you are working on an open-source project, you can use CodeRabbit for free. You can also get a free trial for a private repository.

Automated code reviews give us better code and more time. We may still need developers reviewing code, but augmenting them with AI is game-changing.
This is a no-brainer.
Thanks to the @coderabbitai team for collaborating with me on this post.
This is the amount of desperation I have. Lost my package today by @DHLexpress who refused to take any responsibility.
