3 years ago, the girl I had a crush on told me she was thinking of giving her ex another chance on Valentine's Day, so without telling her anything I booked a flight to her city on February 12th, so I could propose to her, but my plane started malfunctioning and it had to
@AttaJac My hot take is that many FE players are larpers and pretend to be experts after watching a single LTC/0 growths run while also complaining that something like FE12 H2 is too difficult. So many people parrot LTC runners despite clearly having little to no experience with the game.
The fact that we went from "Wikipedia is not a legitimate source of information" in school to "Just ask AI / ChatGPT to get it done" is actually really insulting to me frankly
I feel like people always overrate how mature FE4 actually is. It was given a CERO A rating which is basically the equivalent of E for Everyone. A lot of the darker themes of FE4 are either only implied, easily missable, or done in other FE games (or even other E rated JRPGs)
@HariSel57511397 "Cringe" has become a slur for sincerity, designed to kill joy and talent starting when we're children. Adults need to exorcise it just like any other schoolmarm control word.
Fire Emblem should’ve been localized from the start so I’d be at less risk of seeing what 35-year-old FE7 babies who actively ignore a third of the series and hate another third have to say about long-standing series conventions
People always conveniently forget that FE12, one of the worst selling games in the series, made casual mode and NOT Awakening when making the claim that it “saved the franchise.”
Fire Emblem fans who complain about casual mode existing at all will always be a little funny to me
Like all the power to you if you don’t wanna play it and prefer classic, but bro your series very likely would’ve died in 2013 without it
@SaintArchanea@olivecider776 Furthermore the game absolutely loves to shower you with gold, and stat boosters from the secret shop are both at their cheapest at 2500G each and most overpowered in the series.
