@PhilipTrousdell @TGTandV @Channel4News @darshnasoni The key question is "forgotten by whom?" I fully accept that historians remember (& thank you), as do the modern Indian Army and Sikh campaigning groups. But for too many people, #ww1 is only #poppies, a latin tag and #blackadder, surely?

@TGTandV @Channel4News @darshnasoni Depends on what you mean by "forgotten". Having spent 8 years of my life telling part of the story of the #IndiaArmy on the #WesternFront and in #Mesopotamia I can confirm most people said "I didn't know any of this". So yes. #Forgotten.
