Its ironic because as a liberal, my biases were to uncritically accept this nonsense.
Its only once I investigated my biases I realized the homophobia and misogyny baked into trans ideology, and so I worked to unlearn them.
Its kinda like how they're always saying "listen to trans ppl!". Like, yeah, I did, thats why Im so opposed to this ideology. I was much more supportive of it when I wasnt listening to them.
What Islamists did to Yazidis in Iraq was so much worse than what’s happening in Gaza.
Elderly women buried alive for being too old to be sex slaves.
Mothers forced to eat their own babies.
Young girls locked in iron cages and burned to death.
Yet not a single protest! Everyone who is now protesting for Gaza was completely silent. Why is that?
Unlike the people of Gaza, the Yazidis never started a war!
When the massacre of the Nova festival occurred on 7 October 2023, where there were more than 400 people murdered, over 40 kidnapped and many injured, there was nothing from the global music industry.
Zero from the festival industry.
The slaughter of Jews was met with apathy, with silence.
I remember the bombing of the Arianna Grande concert in Manchester in 2017.. how it was met with horror, with outrage. The Bataclan terrorist attack in 2015, also brought sympathy, shock, pages of articles in the music mags.
The Nova festival?
When people came to dance in Israel and to be one with nature, but got r@ped, massacred and kidnapped by a hoard of jihadist terrorists intent on a bloodbath?
Silence.
Thank you to @max_pilley@NME for visiting the @novaexhibition when so many have refused or shrugged their shoulders with indifference. Thank you for taking the time to bear witness.
Fascinating and in depth article by @PaulKnaggs for Labour Heartlands on the framing of the ‘trans debate’ around toilets rather than women’s fundamental rights.
It’s an accurate observation of a highly successful PR campaign. Across the media, presenters last week repeatedly asked women if they feel guilty about men who can’t use their toilets, businesses who can’t afford to build more toilets, and disabled people whose toilets are suggested as alternatives.
But most importantly they’ve not bern asking about anything except toilets. Specifically they’ve failed to ask men/trans campaigners why they don’t understand that if they are included in the legal meaning of ‘woman’, women themselves have no rights at all on the basis of sex.
It follows a pattern of successful ‘identity’ media campaigns, with which news outlets collude because 1. their proponents are very top down and powerful and 2. they advance men’s rights. Previous examples include lived experience journalism, no debate, the narrative of victimhood and the infinite necessity of a trans male contributor.
This excellent article also looks at the impact:- ‘The cost has been real and it has fallen on working class women in particular’.

Have you read “Ghosts of a Holy Ghost War” by @yardenas?
I think about it often when I observe the dangerous ways in which the public is manipulated by those who weaponize social media—and traditional media. Propaganda is nothing new, but now it’s taken on a much more global scale.
In the 1920s-30s, Haj Amin al-Husseini (the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem) spread anti-Jewish rumors and propaganda through leaflets/pamphlets in Mandatory Palestine.
He also promoted The Protocols of the Elders of Zion in local newspapers.
In the late 1930s, with nazi help, he produced or endorsed materials fusing Islamic anti-Judaism with modern antisemitic tropes.
Then, during WWII in Berlin, he broadcast radio propaganda, helped with Nazi leaflets dropped in the region (some urging “Kill the Jews”), and wrote booklets like Islam and Judaism for Bosnian SS recruits.
Thank you for the recommendation @TaliGoldsheft! When I began writing Ghosts of a Holy War back in 2019, I never imagined that just a few years later we would be watching this decades-old synthesis of Islamism & Naziism take root so openly and unabashedly in our own society. It is absolutely terrifying.
Where’s the global outrage? The condemnations of the Libyan government? These activists have *actually* been kidnapped and it’s crickets from the PR campaign.
“So let me get this straight, while the Islamic Republic was massacring our own people, our own students, our own young people, massacring them, raping them and killing them and torturing them on the streets in the daylight, you kept your mouth shut. As soon as there's an attack from the US or Israel on the Islamic Republic, on the regime, NOT the people, you come out saying that they're attacking schools and hospitals. This is IRGC propaganda and if you would like to be on the right side of history, shut the fuck up, do your research and know that Israel and the US is not attacking schools or hospitals, it's the Islamic Republic and the regime themselves.”
I’m an Arab from Israel, and I’d choose Israel over IRGC-controlled Iran every day of the week.
Living side by side with Jews is far better than living under the boots of the Iranian regime, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestinian authority, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Houthis combined.
God bless Israel 🇮🇱
I took a course in feminism and womanhood too, Thomas, it’s the same course 51% of the world takes when we come into the world as females. Enrolment is mandatory and we don’t get to opt out and we’re on the course until the day we die. The exams are tough, sometimes even deadly, and the coursework is relentless as we navigate the world as women and girls and learn a little more every day about how much men - not all men, but some - hate us, and a little more every day about how the odds are stacked against us and how different life is for the men and boys in our lives who move through the world with none of the disadvantages and danger that come as our birthright.
But please, do tell us about the modules you took, that have rendered you such an expert in womanhood and feminism. We’re all ears.
From Orientalism to October 7: How Feminism Failed Israeli Women.
To radical feminists, the ideal of a decolonised, transformed Palestine matters more than the actual conditions women face there. Under popular academic and activist feminism, ideology displaces evidence. The exclusion of Israeli women from feminist solidarity after October 7 was the culmination of decades of ideological devolution into extremism. Radical feminism now approves the methods and aims of radical Islamist terrorists.

The Islamic Republic doesn’t just jail dissidents. It systematically humiliates, tortures, and sexually abuses women to crush opposition through terror.
And the same Western activists screaming about “human rights” stay silent because the regime is anti-Israel. Absolute moral bankruptcy:
Human rights mean nothing if they only apply selectively.
If the world cannot condemn systematic rape, executions, and repression in Iran with the same energy it targets democracies, then the entire “human rights” industry is a fraud.
https://t.co/xrCxKtpOTs
The UN and celebrity activists lecture democracies nonstop, yet stay silent while Iranian women are raped, tortured, and executed by an Islamist regime. Their “human rights” outrage is purely political.
Francesca Albanese, Susan Sarandon and the UN obsess over Israel and the West while ignoring the barbarity inflicted on Iranian women. The hypocrisy is impossible to deny.
Hamas official openly bragging:
“The Palestinian people has developed its methods of death and death-seeking… Death has become an industry… at which women excel, and so do the elderly, the mujahideen and the children.”
“This is why they have formed human shields of the women, the children, the elderly, and the mujahideen… We desire death like you desire life.”
They admit it. They’re proud of it.
This is why Gaza’s civilians were dying.
Don’t look away.
There’s an ongoing deliberate attempt by antizionists, who are joining forces with white supremacists, to push Jews out of cultural spaces, professions, and public life.
In the last 3 years, Jewish film festivals canceled over “safety.”
Pro-Israel summits—like the major Dallas event with over 1,000 tickets sold—scrapped due to violent threats.
Matisyahu’s concerts axed in multiple cities. Brett Gelman’s bookstore talks dropped. Israeli comedian Guy Hochman and Michael Rapaport’s shows shut down by mobs.
Jewish writers like Susan Blumberg-Kason dropped by agents, Elisa Albert’s panels canceled for being a “Zionist.” Doctors and academics sidelined in med schools and universities.
Jews are a tiny minority—~2% of the U.S., 0.2% globally—yet that doesn’t matter to the so-called “antiracists” enforcing this purge.
They can keep trying to BDS us out of society, dressing it up as “social justice”—but the jig is up.
Those watching in silence are complicit. Your neutrality greenlights the exclusion.
But you know what? We aren’t eternal victims. We’re eternal fighters.
We’ve been here before—expulsions, boycotts, pogroms. Jewish people don’t break. We endure, rebuild, and prevail. ✡️
ISLAM-SHARIAH LAW: RAPE VICTIMS NEED FOUR MALE WITNESSES—OR THEY ARE PUNISHED
Islamic doctrine and Sharia law impose an evidentiary standard on rape victims that makes justice nearly impossible while exposing the victim herself to punishment if she cannot meet it.
Quranic Basis for the Four-Witness Rule
Quran 24:4 states: "And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses—lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever after." Quran 24:13 adds: "Why did they not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allah, who are the liars."
The plain meaning requires four upright male Muslim witnesses who actually observed the act of penetration to prove zina (unlawful sexual intercourse). Rape falls under this category in traditional Sharia application. Without those four male witnesses, the accusation itself becomes qadhf (false accusation of zina), triggering hudud punishment on the accuser—typically eighty lashes.
This is not a neutral rule of evidence. It creates a system where the victim must produce impossible testimony or face flogging, stoning, or imprisonment for speaking out. Pregnancy without marriage or a confession extracted under pressure can lead to the victim herself being tried for zina.
Real Meaning: Protection of Perpetrators Over Victims
The doctrine prioritizes shielding men from sexual accusations over delivering justice to violated women. Male testimony holds superior weight, and the high bar of four witnesses effectively grants immunity to rapists in most cases. A woman who reports the crime risks becoming the criminal if she lacks male corroboration.
This framework flows from the same texts that establish male authority and control over female sexuality. It treats the violation of a woman’s body as a matter of public honor and evidentiary ritual rather than a direct crime against the victim deserving swift protection and punishment of the guilty.
Historical and Modern Enforcement
From the earliest application of Sharia, this witness requirement protected the accused in sexual matters while exposing women to double victimization. It continues today in countries enforcing hudud. In Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan under Taliban rule, and Saudi Arabia, rape victims have been flogged, imprisoned, or executed for zina or false accusation when they could not produce the required male witnesses.
The pattern is consistent wherever Sharia operates without restraint. Victims learn to remain silent because the legal system itself becomes the second assault.
Implications for the West and Global Stability
Mass immigration from Sharia-adherent regions brings these attitudes into Western nations. Cultural and religious pressure discourages reporting, while attempts to accommodate parallel Sharia processes undermine equal protection under law. Women in immigrant communities face heightened risk when family or community honor takes precedence over individual justice.
This is not abstract theology. It produces real danger to women and erodes the foundational principle that the state exists to protect the vulnerable rather than enforce impossible evidentiary rituals that shield predators. Regimes like Iran demonstrate the full application, combining this rule with morality policing to control and punish women at every level.
Biblical Contrast and Christian Standard
Scripture rejects this approach entirely. Biblical law distinguished rape from consensual acts and sought justice based on evidence and circumstances without demanding four male eyewitnesses to the penetration (Deuteronomy 22:25-27). The focus remained on protecting the victim and punishing the guilty.
Jesus Christ defended a woman caught in sexual sin from mob execution and offered her mercy with the command to sin no more. The New Testament emphasizes truth, justice, and protection of the weak without rigid rules that punish those who cry out for help. Jehovah’s standard values the testimony of the violated and calls for righteous judgment that does not re-victimize the innocent.
Christianity rests on finished atonement through Christ, freeing believers from cycles of ritualistic punishment and male-dominated honor codes. Islam provides no such foundation, leaving women subject to evidentiary traps that turn rape into a crime the victim must prove with four male observers or suffer the consequences herself.
The incompatibility is total. One system seeks justice for the oppressed. The other embeds rules that protect perpetrators and punish victims as a matter of divine law.

This was me before motherhood, I was a young, carefree soul, strutting in my peculiar stockings, convinced I was the epitome of style. But then, the unimaginable shattered my innocence. I was assaulted by several Middle Eastern men who prayed to Allah. I recall the intricate rugs they used for prayer, their ornate designs etched in my memory. I remember their ritual of washing their feet. I remember the moment my hand brushed against the side of an owner’s plate, igniting his inexplicable fury. He discarded his entire meal in a fit of rage, leaving me bewildered. If only I had understood then what I do now. But time cannot be reversed. Instead, I choose to share my story.
