2 weeks ago at #StratNeuro23, we had engaging discussions, great posters, and even some spa time. Excited to share that I won the poster blitz in the Clinical/Translational category! Grateful for the opportunity to participate!

New Research: Multiple spatial scale mapping of time-resolved brain network reconfiguration during evoked pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: Functional brain networks and the perception of pain can fluctuate over time. However, how… https://t.co/iAuELInwbW #Neuroscience
PS All the brain plots were generated using netplotbrain, a Python package to create 3D network visualizations on a brain that my co-supervisor, Dr William Thompson, and I have developed. https://t.co/G2vRAKcvWH
My 2nd first-authored paper is out in @FrontNeurosci. We explored time-varying changes in brain network integration and segregation during pain over a disease-affected area (joint) and a neutral site (thumbnail) in rheumatoid arthritis patients.🧵1/8 https://t.co/UAH4oKTile
With the present study, we were able to track the temporal profile of pain-related network changes in RA patients and HC. From a clinical perspective, this is of great importance for the understanding of the mechanisms involved in the perception of pain.7/8
@g0neill How about NetPlotBrain? https://t.co/G2vRAKcvWH. It's a visualization tool I developed together with a colleague, William Thompson. With its integration with TemplateFlow @rastko_ciric@oesteban, it tries to solve the problem of using incorrect template spaces in the background.
