Free Imran Khan! Imran Khan has been left to languish in a Pakistani prison cell for over three years. Today in the House of Commons I presented a petition calling for his release, as well as the release of all political prisoners in Pakistan.
Former Australia captains Allan Border and Steve Waugh have joined a host of major cricketing figures in urging the Pakistani government to treat the imprisoned Imran Khan with “decency and justice”. https://t.co/NCDhDV8F9z

Imran Khan is strong and won’t give up. But he cannot free himself, the people must do that.
If the people of a Pakistan want to live in a free and democratic country… they *together* must #FREEIMRANKHAN - to free Pakistan.

Former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan has suffered severe vision loss in prison.
His family and lawyer say he has 15% vision left in his right eye after prison authorities neglected to take action for months.
Pakistani officials have been contacted for comment.
Imran Khan served his country, he was the Prime Minister of the country and he cannot be hidden in darkness. This is not a question of politics or what party one belongs to, it is a question of basic human decency. No prisoner should be treated so inhumanely.
Speaking at the #UNSecurityCouncil on Thursday, @Asimiahmad, #Pakistan’s ambassador to the @UN, expressed full solidarity with the government and people of #Qatar, affirming their inalienable right, under the UN Charter, to take all necessary measures to defend their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of all within their territory. The Pakistani diplomat strongly condemned Israel, calling it an “occupier feigning victimhood,” repeatedly violating UN resolutions and committing state terrorism in #Gaza. The senior official described Israel as an “irresponsible rogue state” and the perpetrator of “the worst kind of state #terrorism”.
