Selena (the white chicken) was found at a garage that services trucks for an egg factory farm. She was stuck under a piece of metal on a truck for three days before being found. And prior to that had spent her whole life crammed in a tiny cage in a warehouse. 1/

We rescued both these girls about a month ago. And today, for the first time, they went out and met their new flock. It couldn’t have gone better. We were a little concerned, because they are still so small and thin, but the other girls were all so welcoming and calm. 3/

Aurora was found on the side of a busy road, as is common around here. She fell off a truck taking her to be slaughtered, after also being in a cage for years and used for her eggs. 2/

When we initially saw Noelle in the hallway at the auction, we thought she was dead. And then we saw her eye move.
Today Noelle seems to have a deep sense of peace and gratitude. She will be loved and cared for, for the rest of her life.

@dairy_truth Little Sasha is finally out of quarantine! She needed a month and a lot of medical support to recover from the parasites and bovine coronavirus she contracted at a local dairy. Now she’s healthy and has been enjoying meeting her new family.
