@newvisionwire Talking of earnings with little or no social and economic justice is intellectual dishonesty. @MUBASA_Official staff earn much far less and for a long time, a Professor earns 6.5M million more than a Senior Lecturer with work load three times more. Analyze these statistics please

Jealous salary systems can undermine education @MUBASA_Official

On UGX 50bn we negotiated for in 2020/21 Prof @EliKatunguka & fellow VCs got UGX 8M salary increase to earn 2OM & his junior staff got UGX 100,000. This is in addition to many other benefits. Indeed he is better paid but does not mind about the quality of education @newvisionwire

Prof @EliKatunguka argues that we are paid better in East Africa. Why did he support a pay structure that undermines majority staff 2700 of 3100 and demoralise them? Do VCs mind about impacts of unjust pay structure on quality of higher education as @KagutaMuseveni envisaged?
