The Claim by @ProfNawangwe that 90% of staff are teaching is false. Our data shows the opposite. What is happening is that staff open MUELE to update their courses. No student admission to courses. Many others aren't on MUELE. Be patient & focus. VCs care not 4 quality education.

[MUASA @MUASA_Official]

Colleagues remain patient & cooperative on your decisions as negotiations go on. We are approaching everyone who cares about 2700 of 3100 staff in public universities disadvantaged. We appeal to @ProfNawangwe to cease inflammatory threats & allow useful discussions. We thank you

@Faspu_Official Counsel @IsaacSsemakadde secures an order from the Labour office for academic staff currently on industrial action.

[MUASA @MUASA_Official]

Who gains when we go to class by force and just slay with uninterested students? Which one of you can ably teach a disinterested student in a demoralizing situation? To all those forcing Lecturers to teach, you have lost it already @Faspu_Official @JanetMuseveni @KagutaMuseveni

[MUASA @MUASA_Official]

Our industrial action is still ongoing and we request all members to cooperate and stay on course until negotiations are complete. Intimidation by @MakerereU Vice Chancellor can only be counterproductive. Its important to negotiate with staff. Educ is a service @Faspu_Official
