With $300 billion, we could end homelessness, fund cancer research for 40 years, and give every child free pre-K for over 7 years. Instead, Trump is sending it to Iran. This is not America First. Not even close.
President Trump has no public events on his schedule again today. That means it has now been one week since he has appeared publicly for anything besides a pre-taped interview. His last public event was his cabinet meeting last Wednesday, one day after his trip to Walter Reed.
A message to all sane Republicans:
He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals.
You said nothing.
He bulldozed the East Wing.
You said nothing.
He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing.
He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
He accepted a $400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing.
He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing.
He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing.
He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations. You said nothing.
His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing.
He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing.
His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing.
He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing.
It’s time to start talking.
If you give a politician $5 to influence a vote, it’s bribery.
If billionaires spend $50 million to influence an election, it’s legal.
That is what a corrupt campaign finance system looks like.
Reupping:
"Those who engaged in the attacks last week will be brought to justice."
---Trump on 1/13/21, after the House impeached him but before the Senate had voted on whether to convict.
In the span of 48 hours, the U.S. government, acting on orders from the Trump Justice Department, did something no administration in American history has ever done before.
The agency created a nearly $1.8 billion fund, drawn from taxpayer money, designed to compensate allies of the president who claim they were mistreated by the Biden Justice Department.
Then, the administration permanently banned the IRS from ever examining President Donald Trump's prior tax returns or those of his sons, his company, or any affiliated trust. That move was quietly announced a day later.
Former IRS Commissioner John Koskinen reacts to these developments. Watch @GeoffRBennett's interview with him.
Fun fact for the $10 billion lawsuit crowd.
The IRS leak that exposed Donald Trump’s tax returns happened between August 2019 and November 2020.
405,427 other taxpayer returns were also leaked.
Trump was president. His own pick, Charles Rettig, ran the IRS. The contractor who did it, Charles Littlejohn, worked on a Trump-era IRS contract and is now serving five years in federal prison.
On January 29, 2026, Trump sued the IRS and Treasury for $10 billion over a breach that happened on his watch, under his commissioner, by a contractor his administration paid.
He is suing the federal government he ran, for failing to stop a leak that occurred while he was running it.
The taxpayer foots the bill either way.
In case you've forgotten, here are some of the things learned from the Trump tax returns leaked by a government contractor in 2020:
In 10 of the 15 years before Trump won the presidency, Trump paid no federal income tax. In 2016 and 2017, he paid $750. https://t.co/yGgjY0sQdP
Seriously guys, whatever happened to:
• the DOGE checks
• tariff checks
• the Greenland hospital boat
• 10% APR on credit cards
• my meds being 1500% cheaper
• $2 gas
• the Epstein files
• reopening the Strait of Hormuz that was already open
• cheaper groceries
• ending wars in 24 hours
• the “privately funded” ballroom
Any updates?
Q: You’re suing the government. Is it fair to ask Americans to pay for that?
Trump: I’m giving it to charity
Q: But that still takes it from the American people
Trump: No, because they give money to charity….@Acyn (2026)
Trump on Iran War:
Reporter: What extent are Americans’ financial situation motivating you to make a deal?
Trump: Not even a little bit. I don't think about Americans’ financial situation
Buttiigieg: "Look, when you are this deep into your second year, if your reflex is to still be trying to blame the previous administration, it really shows that you are out of ideas, out of solutions, and unwilling to take ownership of your own choices."
CNN montage of Trump saying he and private donors are going to pay for the ballroom, followed by clips of him lying about the cost: "$250 million... about $300 million... approximately 400 million."
Now taxpayers are going to get a bill for $1 billion.
The ballroom went from $200 million & privately funded, to $300 million, to $400 million and taxpayers cover some of it, to MAGA trying to silently jam through $1 BILLION, 100% of which is our tax money, for this ballroom.
WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.
MacKenzie Scott divorced Jeff Bezos and got $36 billion in the divorce.
She has donated $26 billion to charity since then.
She’s now worth $42 billion, six billion MORE than when she started
TAX THE BILLIONAIRES. THEY’LL BE FINE.
By the way -
Todd Blanche, the guy bringing the charges against James Comey for seashells, is the same guy who helped move child rapist Ghislaine Maxwell to a prison with yoga.
REMINDER: While trump wants to give billions to United Arab Emirates, and is trying to sue the IRS for $10 billion in taxpayer funds...
... he says we can't take care of child care, Medicare, etc.
That's America LAST.
Here they are: our two top Iran negotiators.
No diplomatic experience. In way over their head. Both with massive financial conflicts of interest, their fortunes tied to the Middle East dictators that make them rich.
What a distaster.
Trump’s own words last week: “We can’t take care of day care, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things.”
This week, he says he’s ready to bail out the United Arab Emirates.
The man who ran on America First is telling American families they’re on their own while offering a financial lifeline to a wealthy Gulf state whose sovereign wealth fund has poured billions into his family’s businesses.
Can’t afford day care.
Can’t afford healthcare.
Can’t afford to help families keep the heat on.
Can afford a bailout for the UAE.
Tell me again who America First was supposed to be for.
