@CardioFixer I will add one interesting historical note for those of us in Northern Arizona. If you look at the 1880 territorial map where Flagstaff is now, it was marked as the location of the Antelope Spring. (That's where we got our farm name)
After the SAVE America act...somewhere down the list...repeal the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005 (CMEA). Having to wait in line at the pharmacy and take up valuable time from the staff there is totally stupid and pointless, having to have to sign to get Sudafed. The only decongestant that actually works worth a darn. They've already admitted that the over-the-counter replacements don't work. So get rid of this crap.
@AZBrianAnderson Flagstaff used to prize the views. But now, it's filled with tall student housing buildings that look like they got their exterior design elements from a garage sale of leftover bits. We had a factory in Flagstaff, but we will never operate in that city again.
Hey, you ignorant dipshit, Arizona law already allows local jurisdictions to make their own laws or ordinances that regulate STRs. That's why our Coconino County can now make us pay $250/yr for the privilege of renting out a second home. And they prohibit the rental of trailers or yurts or glamping tents...all things which were really popular with tourists visiting Northern AZ and the Grand Canyon. Nice job, shutting down so many small business owners...
@MattWalshBlog We acquired 5 Angora goats, included with the purchase of some looms and spinning gear from a nice, old gentleman. "This stuff comes with free goats." It happens, Matt.
@iheartmindy The only bar soap I buy (in fact, I recently bought a new one) is Lava...which has been around over 100 years. It's a special-use soap, though...not for "regular" handwashing. Dad used it and there's not much better when it's needed.
@OldRowSwig We did that at the police department. Well, not after beers... Check out Simunition. They hurt enough that it would make you think twice about jumping out like a Rambo larper.
@SteveOnSpeed Unfortunately, when I looked into claiming at 62 I found I would actually receive $0 annually (because I still make an income) and I'd get a reduced payment forever.
