@BackwardsFeet I am very sympathetic to the desire to maintain the stability of thriving parishes. I just started on my diocese’s priest personnel board in January, though, and I’ve already seen that—at least here in Maine—there are virtually no “shufflings of priests for no reason.”

@FrTotleben92742 After identifying myself as a priest during one of my own confessions, the confessor asked me at the end, “Father, do you know how to pray the Rosary?” I said “………Yes,” and he gave me a 5-decade Rosary as a penance. 😆

@danbachiochi @BpRobertReed I was just going to contribute the same photo! Holy Family in Sanford, Maine. The church was designed by the architect Albert Roy from Worcester; this restroom was (not surprisingly, given the window portrays John the Baptist) originally the baptistry.
