Elon, you may recall we have met before.
I am Jemima Goldsmith (Khan), former wife of Imran Khan — Pakistan’s democratically elected Prime Minister, removed in 2022 and now held 22 months in brutal solitary confinement as a political prisoner.
Our two sons have not seen him in all that time, have not spoken to him in months, and are not even allowed to send him letters. His name is banned from every Pakistani TV and radio station. X was therefore our only independent platform to highlight this injustice. However acc to Grok- your own AI- “Every time you post anything about Imran’s jail conditions, solitary confinement or your son’s access to their father, the algorithm limits the post…. The Pakistani authorities have made criticism from Imran Khan’s immediate circle one of their top online enforcement priorities, and X is quietly complying just enough to keep the platform alive in the country.”
You have repeatedly pledged that X will protect free speech and will not silence lawful political expression.
Yet Grok has examined my X analytics (3.56 million followers) and concluded my account is subjected to what Grok calls “secret throttling” (the algorithm deliberately hides my posts from almost everyone even though the account is not suspended).
The damning evidence Grok found is as follows :
• In 2023–early 2024, I averaged 400–900 million impressions per month (normal reach for my follower count).
• But in the entire 2025, impressions dropped to only 28.6 million total — a 97% crash to <3% of expected reach.
• The turning point was May 2025: one post spiked to 4 million impressions the day Pakistan’s X ban ended (proving my audience was still engaged), thereafter impressions were instantly crushed to near zero and stayed there. These numbers & assessments are all verbatim from Grok.

I am asking you to honour the free-speech promises you have made for this platform.

میرا جواب یہ ہے کہ تحریک انصاف حکومت کے دوران دانشمندانہ پالیسی اپنا کر پاکستان خصوصاْ قبائلی علاقوں میں سب سے زیادہ امن قائم ہوا۔ اور اب ایک مرتبہ پھر آپریشن کے ذریعے حالات کو مزید بگاڑ کی طرف بڑھتے دیکھ کر میں خاموش رہ کر اپنے لوگوں کو آگ میں جلتا ہوا نہیں دیکھ سکتا۔

تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کے دوران افغانستان میں پاکستان مخالف اشرف غنی کی حکومت تھی۔ افغانستان کی NDS اس وقت انڈیا کے ساتھ بہت قریب رہ کر کام کر رہی تھی اور وہ پاکستان کے خلاف تھے- ہم نے ان سے بھی مذاکرات کیے- میں افغانستان گیا اور اشرف غنی کو قیام امن کی خاطر پاکستان بلایا جس سے قبائلی علاقوں کا امن بحال ہوا اور وہاں ایک عرصے بعد استحکام کا ماحول قائم ہونے لگا تھا۔ اس وقت آئی ایس آئی کی بھی یہی پالیسی تھی۔ لیکن جیسے ہی عاصم منیر چیف بنا اس نے پاکستان دوست افغان حکومت کو دھمکیاں دیں اور جان بوجھ کر حالات خراب کیے۔ صرف یہی نہیں، تین نسلوں سے یہاں رہنے والے افغان مہاجرین کو زبردستی ملک بدر کیا اور وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے جس سے دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات خراب ہوئے اور خیبرپختونخوا اور قبائ��ی علاقہ جات کا امن برباد ہوا۔ جب تک یہ خطے کے چاروں فریقین یعنی افغان حکومت اور افغان عوام ، پاکستان کی حکومت اور خیبر پختونخوا کے لوگ مل کر نہیں بیٹھیں گے، امن نہیں آئے گا۔ تاریخ بتاتی ہے کہ ملٹری آپریشنز سے جتنا مرضی ��ور لگا لیں امن قائم نہیں ہوتا-

تیسرا سوال کیا گیا کہ “عاصم لاء کیا ہے”؟
تو میرا جواب ہے کہ ملک میں جو بھی بربادی ہے وہ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہے اور یہ کوئی پراپیگنڈا نہیں بلکہ زمینی حقائق پر مبنی بات ہے۔ سب سے پہلے مجھے رینجرز نے احاطہ عدالت سے اغواء کیا اور نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کروایا گیا۔ نو مئی کا آپریشن باقاعدہ منصوبہ بندی سے کیا گیا ورنہ چند گھنٹوں میں تحریک انصاف کے دس ہزار لوگ گرفتار نہ کیے جاتے۔ سی سی ٹی وی بھی اصل مجرموں سے توجہ ہٹانے کے لیے غائب کی گئی۔ اس کے بعد جو پریس کانفرنس کرتا اس کو آزادی مل جاتی اور جو تحریک انصاف کا ساتھ دیتا رہتا اس کو ہراساں کی جانے کی کوئی کوشش چھوڑی نہیں جاتی۔ اس منصوبے کو استعمال کر کے نا صرف تحریک انصاف کو کچلا گیا بلکہ انسانی حقوق کی بھی دھجیاں بکھیر دی گئیں۔اس کے بعد عوام نے ہمیں دو تہائی مینڈیٹ دیا جسے چوری کر کے ان چوروں کو ملک پر مسلط کر دیا گیا ��ن کی کرپشن کی داستانیں آئی ایس آئی خود مجھے سناتی تھی۔ پھر جس الیکشن کمشنر پر آرٹیکل 6 لگناچاہیے تھا اسے نو ماہ کی ایکسٹینشن دے دی گئی۔ فارم 47 ایوان کے ذریعے چھبیسویں ترمیم منظور کروائی گئی اور ایسے ضمیر فروش ججز کو اوپر لایا گیا جن سے انصاف کی کوئی امید نہیں بچی۔ ہر ادارے کو تباہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔

وہ آئی ایس آئی جو تحریک انصاف دور میں افغانستان کے ساتھ امن کے لیے کام کر رہی تھی، اب محض عاصم منیر کی ذاتی مافیا بن کر رہ گئی ہے، جس کی واحد ڈیوٹی کسی بھی طریقے سے تحریک انصاف کو کچلنا ہے۔ یہ سب عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے -

مجھ سے چوتھا سوال کیا گیا کہ سقوط ڈھاکہ کا حوالہ کیو�� دیا اور عاصم منیر کو یحییٰ خان سے تشبیہہ کیوں دیتا ہوں؟

میرا جواب ہے کہ مجیب الرحمٰن اور یحیٰی خان کے بارے میں جو بھی میں کہتا ہوں وہ حمود الرحمان کمیشن میں درج ہے اور تاریخ کا حصہ ہے کہ کیسے یحیٰی خان نے اپنے اقتدار کو طوالت دینے کے لیے مجیب الرحمان کی اکثریتی پارٹی کو حکومت دینے کی بجائے ان پر ملٹری آپریشن شروع کر دیا اور ملک توڑ دیا۔ ایک دن مجیب الرحمٰن سے م��اکرات ہو رہے تھے اور اگلے ہی دن بنگالیوں پر آپریشن لانچ کر دیا۔ آج کل وہی یہاں ہو رہا ہے، جو کام یحیٰی خان نے 1971 میں کیا وہی سب عاصم منیر بھی کر رہا ہے، جس سے ملک میں قانون اور آئین کا جنازہ اٹھ چکا ہے۔

مجھ سے پانچواں سوال کیا گیا کہ میں یہ کیوں کہتا ہوں کہ مجھ پر ذہنی تشدد ہو رہا ہے؟

From Adiala Jail, Imran Khan declared his life rests only in Allah’s hands, not Asim Munir’s, vowing never to accept tyranny.

He detailed solitary confinement, denial of his doctor, and blocked access to family, counsel, and colleagues.

Khan accused Munir of wrecking peace with Afghanistan and expelling refugees.

He ordered Ali Amin Gandapur to meet Afghan leaders, condemned military operations and drone strikes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and warned terrorism will rise.

He urged flood relief, said he would have led telethons, and demanded PTI protest the Balochistan attack.

“I am a believer in ‘La Ilaha Illallah’ (There is no god but Allah). This declaration liberates a believer from every form of fear and slavery. My life is in the hands of Allah, not in the hands of Asim Munir. I continue to be held in solitary confinement in an effort to break me. My personal doctors have not been permitted to examine me for one year. Access to newspapers and television is blocked for weeks at a time. Even family members and lawyers are barred from meeting me. I have not been allowed to meet my political colleagues for a year and a half. My message to Asim Munir is this: no matter how much pressure you put on me, or which of my family members you throw into prison, I will neither bow down nor accept this oppression. I will continue my struggle for true freedom, come what may.

In an attempt to appease the lobby that opposes the current government in Afghanistan, Asim Munir, in his short-sightedness, is destroying the peace that was established in the region during our tenure. Where there should have been a strong relationship, things are being made worse. It grieves me deeply that after decades of hospitality, our Afghan brothers are now being forcibly pushed out of the country. At a time when Afghanistan has been struck by an earthquake, we ought to be helping them, not expelling them.

I direct Ali Amin Gandapur to go to Afghanistan, sit with them, and hold discussions regarding mutual issues and peace and security so that the situation can be prevented from deteriorating further. The sham federal government must answer: if Maryam Nawaz can travel to Japan and Thailand, why should the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa not be able to travel to Afghanistan for peace in his province?

The ongoing military operations, drone strikes, and forced displacements of our own people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are, in reality, an attempt to undermine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government that was formed with a public mandate. Ali Amin Gandapur must firmly resist this operation. The people of the province are already devastated by floods. If drone strikes and military operations are not stopped, it will be a grave injustice. Already, many of our police personnel have embraced martyrdom. As long as this operation continues, the hardships of the people will increase, and terrorism will intensify further.

At this moment, the entire country is submerged in floods. People have suffered immense losses because of these floods in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The whole nation must unite to confront this situation. I would surely be conducting fundraising and telethons if I were not in prison. From here, I call upon my nation to contribute generously and wholeheartedly to relief efforts for the assistance of flood victims.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must also fully participate in the protest against the attack on the political gathering in Balochistan.”
