Update for anyone following. I sent CAFCASS details of some horrendous abuse and encouragement of suicide I received "anonymously". CAFCASS have ignored this in the past and said I am abusive for mentioning it. This time they have picked up on the word suicide, said I am a danger and stopped my children seeing me on my birthday. They get someone to phone me every day to ask if I am suicidal yet, and have told my kids that I am mental. I am not suicidal at all, they just would rather force this gaslighting upon me than admit they characterised someone wrongly.

@vickktoriax @andyburnham Vicki, I sympathise and feel your pain..the monsters that were abusing children through the 80's, 90's and early 2000's are still a risk when released, are still incredibly harmfu and upsettingl to their past victims, yet will be back out on a technicality. A woman was jailed for four and a half years, after admitting she'd falsely accused ten men of rape over a six-year period.

The men she accused lost jobs, partners, homes, and in some cases access to their own children. None were ever charged. One later told the court he'd considered taking his own life because of what happened to him. Police estimated the false allegations cost over £120,000 in wasted investigation and support resources, before counting what they cost the men themselves.

Ten men. Six years. One person, doing this again and again, with almost no consequence until the very end, and even then, it is no where near enough for what she has done to those men.

That's not a system working as intended, that's a system that let this happen ten times over before it stopped her.

This is exactly why reform matters. Faster cross-referencing when the same person makes repeat allegations, real consequences that arrive before a decade of damage is done, and support for the men left standing in the wreckage while the process plays out.

The Cafcass Social Worker who LIED in Court

She was copied into this email which clearly evidences breaches of s10 and s11 of the Children's Act and her statutory legal duty for Safeguarding

She was copied into over 30 Safeguarding reports made to Oxfordshire Children's Services that were ignored and swept under the Corrupt Corporate Carpet of County Hall

She had copies of reports from Psychiatrists and Psychologist to confirm my diagnosis of Complex PTSD

She breached GDPR, Nolan Standards, SWE Code of Practice, Human Rights Act, UN Rights of the Child, Children's Act

She is NOT entitled to be protected

I can evidence that she was fully aware

She was in touch with the Reguge where I fled because I feared for my life

My Psychologist emailed her to clearly raise concerns for my safety and that of my children

Her unprofessional conduct was criminal

Gross misconduct in public office

Fraud

Attempts to pervert the course of justice

While I was in a refuge in Cambridge the Police recorded a crime of fraud, and forwarded it to Thames Valley Police who seemed to have swept it under the Corrupt Corporate Carpet of County Hall
