I agree with you, but don’t wait until 70 unless it fits your circumstances. Social security is a pittance, not even close to what we have paid in to the system. Starting at 62, you will get more money back over your life than if you wait for 70. I think the math works out to where you have to collect until 93 to break even with taking the lesser amount starting at a younger age.
@BuzzPatterson@realDailyWire Because the child can’t live / measure in the shadow of the celebrity so they “trans” them to be unique instead of raising a truly unique independent person who is amazing in their own rights.
@GuntherEagleman@RashidaTlaib@grok I will die laughing when the judge issued warrant turns out to be about the millions in fraud and not just her immigration status.
@BskiMike22802@NYCMayor New York after 9/11 “we will never forget”.
New York forgot.
This is part of the result. This post had only one goal, and the safety on New Yorkers was not it.
Not necessarily straight cash on hand, it is a process.
Very few people would have straight cash on hand to equal their mortgage as an offsetting investment.
For the same theoretical mortgage, over the life of the loan you will repay $461,178 not the $300k. It would take 14 years for the $300k to grow to $461,178 in a CD at 3.1%.
Just my opinion, but in real world finances I still think you are better off to limit interest lost and become debt free plus allow your investments to work for you. It is not apples to apples, to get the 300K mortgage there are down payments and other expenses. You pay all the interest up front, very little principal, with a mortgage. The less money I pay out in interest the more money I have to invest.
I dont delude myself, it is just a question of priorities. When we were able we rolled our 30 year into a 15 year at almost the same rate. Our lifetime loan interest on our property decreased by over $500,000. Mortgages are charging interest on the total purchase value, the alternate investment is not going to be that much. It is not a dollar for dollar comparison. Our payment went up by two-thirds, so almost double. Don’t mistake me, we still invested in our 401K and other things, and we did not make paying off the property some overbearing all consuming thing; but we did not have an amount equal to our mortgage payment to invest each month to try to profit off the difference in interest.
For me, and it is just my opinion, I prefer to have my home and major living paid for without the stress of having to “make the payments” when times get hard.
I am trading potential profit for security.
Agreed, I try not to have any debt including cars and other large expenses. If your mortgage interest is so low and you are using your other money to make big purchases without higher rate debt I applaud you. After the purchase I would still go back to continuing to pay off the mortgage just for the security of it. But that is just me.
@infantrydort And our honored civilian judiciary cannot do a single thing to prevent it. We should use military justice when it applies across the board. My only regret, we did not do it years ago.
@mattvanswol@mikepat711 That is a great attitude until they start regulating your life according to their views; then you will wish you had paid more attention. Unless you are a complete hermit, it is very difficult to have a laissez-faire attitude in today’s society.
The transitions between each section are incredibly smooth. It’s so good that I got completely absorbed in this arrangement and almost forgot about the original soundtrack.
Are we going to sell beef to Hindus? I have been to both countries; there is more than enough to keep our elected State officials busy helping make a better Montana right here at home. If you need to have specific trade discussions use a Zoom call.
There are far better uses of our tax dollars than a paid holiday junket.
@KurtSchlichter There should be a rule where politicians are not allowed to weigh in on criminal matters until after the facts have been established and adjudicated. They taint the process by speaking out publicly without knowledge.
@dogwoodblooms They only show NC as being nice because they misunderstood “bless your heart”. 😂😂
I once knew a lovely older southern lady from Georgia, and she could literally tell you to go fck yourself so sweetly you would thank her for it.
@nmlinguaphile I have not tried G4, so this exchange is already enriching my life even further. 😀 El Tesoro and Chinaco have always been personal favorites.
