@BuffGigas@ArmorKingTV21 Hopefully the stage tones down the neon red lighting a bit and goes for something more unique creatively. Feels like wev e seen that same red vibe on way too many stages already
Today's format will be as follows (stream begins at 19:15 UK time):
- Opening debate with AfterSchoolSophie for 1 hour beginning at 19:15 UK time as she attempts to argue the case for season 3 against me.
- Avataryaya, King Jae, Blackheart, Moonsault Slayer, Shinblade and FinnT will join after the opening 1 hour debate to continue the discussion.
- Roughly 2 hours or so after the panel joins, we will be allowing people onto the call to say their piece on Tekken 8.
As always, these podcasts are somewhat wild so expect things to fly off the rails at a moments notice. I will do my best to try and keep it under control as much as possible.
The new combo system feels a bit boring to me now. Normal combos push too far,and Heat Dash combos don’t really give you much room to build strings anymore. There’s also less room to be creative with starters or mid combo routes. In certain situations, it feels harder to even reach the wall and make something interesting.I get that the damage is higher now,but I still think the longer Heat Dash carry was alright for those situation☝️⛓️💥

That s a fair take because the real issue wasn’t the Heat Dash identity itself but how free the reward felt off engagers. I just think the fix also took away some of the charm situational creativity and unique route variety those longer combos gave the system and losing that makes things feel a bit more standard than they need to
