How you speak to your husband matters. A soft tone, gentle words, and respect will move a man faster than attitude ever will. Feminine energy is not weakness. It’s influence, grace and quiet power.
Raya is a blessing to Arsenal.
His clean sheets are not normal ones that are enjoyed as a result of good defense, man works for his clean sheets with unbelievable saves.

President Tinubu mocked Atiku on privatization:
No one among them (coalition leaders) is without history, the head (Atiku) was the chairman of the privatization council of Nigeria at one time. They privatized the steel industry in Delta, is it working today? They privatized Ajaokuta, is it working today? They privatized another man’s political party; that one says no.
This statement from Peter Obi is exactly the kind of rhetoric that sounds deep at first glance but collapses the moment you apply even a little historical honesty.
First off, comparing anyone today to Sani Abacha and suggesting Abacha comes out looking “more democratic” is not bold it’s wildly revisionist. This was a regime defined by jailed journalists, executed activists, and zero tolerance for dissent. You don’t get to rewrite that legacy just to score political points.
Calling former pro-democracy activists “worse than Abacha” is not just an exaggeration it’s intellectual laziness. It flattens decades of struggle, sacrifices, and actual authoritarian brutality into a convenient talking point. That’s not courage; that’s selective memory.
And the irony? Obi is trying to position himself as morally consistent while casually trivializing one of Nigeria’s darkest eras. You can criticize today’s leaders without sanitizing dictatorship. In fact, doing so undermines the very “New Nigeria” he’s always preaching about.
“Power reveals character,” he says true. But so does revisionism.
The David Mark’s faction of the ADC really think they can use emotional reasoning and blackmail to bluff their way out of a purely legal conundrum they brought upon themselves. Unfortunately for them, law does not admit of sentiment. Decisions are based on facts, evidence, and the interpretation of laws, rather than on sympathy, emotion or political considerations.
All those who are arguing about ‘status quo ante bellum’ are dispensing their time and energy chasing shadows and not the substance. This is because whether INEC recognises either faction for now is irrelevant: what is relevant is that there is a challenge regarding the take-over of the Party pending in court by a duly elected Deputy National Chairman. As long as that case remains in court, all the actions of either faction MAY end up being nugatory AFTER the deadline for nominations of candidates by INEC. The implication is that the ADC may end up having NO CANDIDATE for the election.
Therefore, instead of vilifying INEC, the ADC should rather thank INEC for this timely action of de-recognising both factions BEFORE the close of the window for nominating candidates. It has duly forewarned the Party of the danger ahead and opened a window for them to either find a new, risk-free platform or ask for accelerated hearing of the case in court, or politically settle the leadership question in the Party quickly.
To keep blaming imaginary opponents or INEC is purely mischievous: neither APC nor INEC prodded these grown adults and supposedly ‘experienced’ politicians to go and hijack an existing platform without sound legal advice and without properly sorting out every member of the leadership of that existing platform.
They say they will proceed with their congresses and Convention despite INEC’s decision and the ruling of the Court of Appeal. That is fine by us.

President Bola Tinubu, despite this being his first term, has been a most consequential president.
If Nigeria must achieve its loftiest of dreams, its leaders must defy populism and the vain benefits of easy but unwholesome policies for the tough decisions that, whilst they may not look popular immediately, will set it up for glory and greatness for years to come.
Happy birthday Mr President @officialABAT . Continue to thrive and prosper 🎉🎉🎉
My dear fellow Nigerians,
Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration.
To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely.
I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me.
Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key.
As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis.
The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together.
As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations.
We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome.
Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa.
Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me!
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
SEYI MAKINDE'S ERROR OF COMPARISON
Seyi Makinde: "What has Bola Ahmed Tinubu done that I haven’t done?"
Well, because His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde is our yoruba brother, I will attend to that error of judgment with mercy in mind.
Dear Seyi Makinde, before you sit in the shade and compare yourself to the man who planted the tree, consider the following:
1. Build a political party first. Not inherit one. Not defect into one. Build one - from concrete and conviction, from ridicule and rejection.
Then have the stomach to remain in opposition for fifteen years - without hopping, jumping, galloping, or tossing yourself from platform to platform like a market woman searching for a better price
2. While building that party, raise a generation. Not followers - leaders. Councillors. Chairmen. Lawmakers. Governors. Ministers. A Vice President. A President. All from one root, one platform, one vision.
The tree that would pierce the heavens first deepens its roots in the earth. Jagaban did not just grow tall; he grew roots wide enough to lift others with him.
3. Use that same platform - the one you built with your own hands and your own sacrifice - to confront a sitting incumbent. Not a weak one. A fortified one. And win.
4. As it is clear you also nurse Presidential aspirations, sponsor your Presidential ambition on that same platform, without borrowing another man's structure or riding another man's momentum, and watch the nation answer yes.
Seyi Makinde is a competent Governor. Oyo is better for his presence. But competence in one room does not make a man the landlord of the whole house.
Talk is cheap - What the mouth says is never equal to what the hands have done.
It is in the doing that men are separated from boys.

Tell us you want an Ibo president in 2027, we will understand, but if you bring that market to market economist under the disguise of competence cum better Nigeria, we will treat you as a Drunk under the influence of Hero.
THE NEW HEROES OF CHANGE
1. David Mark:
Military Governor of Niger State: 1984 - 1986
Senator (Benue South): 1999 - 2019
President of the Senate: 2007 - 2015
Most memorable Achievement: Threatening to shoot MKO Abiola, the adjudged winner of the annuled 1993 elections.
We have him to thank - with both hands raised and heads bowed - for his profound wisdom in disrupting that election and overturning the people's mandate. We were not ripe for democracy anyway. A man who knows when a people are unready is not a villain - he is simply a gardener with patience we did not deserve.
2. Rauf Aregbesola:
Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure: 1999 - 2007
Governor of Osun State: 2010 - 2018
Minister of Interior: 2019 - 2023
Most Memorable Achievement:
Consistently paying civil servants half-salary for his entire 8-year reign as Governor of Osun State and his unforgettable enthusiasm in declaring public holidays.
The man who gives you half a fish is still teaching you to be grateful. Such a thoughtful leader he is indeed. He knows, as the sages knew before him, that the love of money is the root of all evil. And so, with brilliant consideration and the compassion of a saint, he ensured the people had less of it.
When the stomach is empty, the heart is pure. The less money the people have, the more distant they will be to evil. A thoughtful leader I stan - deeply, sincerely, and with a straight face.
3. Peter Obi:
Trusted henchman for the military dictator and authoritarian General Sani Abacha.
Governor of Anambra State: 2006 - 2014
Special Adviser to the President on Finance (served under President Goodluck Jonathan until May 2015
Most Memorable Achievement:
Warehousing state funds in his private bank and investing heavily in a beer producing factory.
We must all be humble enough to applaud his intelligence and sincerity of purpose. Had he constructed roads, those roads would today be riddled with potholes, demanding fresh billions. Had he built schools or hospitals, those structures would be aging, crumbling, and screaming for reinvestment.
He had the foresight - the rare, selfless foresight - to save the state the burden of future pain. And for the beer parlour? Have you ever seen a sad drunk man? Peter Obi did not just govern a state - he administered therapy to an entire people.
4. Atiku Abubakar:
Vice - President: 1999 - 2007
Presidential candidate: 1993, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, 2023
Most Memorable Achievement:
Gifting national assets to his friends and cronies.
Now, people misunderstand this gentleman and brand him a waster - but the stranger who has not tasted the soup calls it poison. They are the ones mistaken. Nigeria's assets belong to Nigerians. Atiku's friends and lovers are also Nigerians.
So tell me, where precisely is the crime in giving Nigerian assets back to Nigerians? He is not a looter - he is a redistributor. A patriot of the highest, most creative order.
OUR NEW HEROES
Beloved, above is the brief but illuminating profile of those who have now gathered in the opposition as our new Messiahs - our fresh prophets, robed in the garments of change, smelling faintly of the same old corridors.
The same dog that bit you yesterday does not become your guard simply because it now wags its tail. It will not matter that they have lived and feasted and been deeply, profitably invested in the very rot they now stand before us to protest against. Whenever one wakes is one's morning - even if the sun is already setting.
It will not matter that they failed in previous assignments of far lesser significance. The Bible itself preaches rebirth - even the prodigal son found a fatted calf waiting at the gate. And who are we to say that even the devil may not, upon a day, dust his wings and stand again beside the Almighty as the archangel?
The masquerade that returned from the forest wearing new raffia still dances the same old steps.
Have I left anyone out?
Good Evening Severally.
