We introduce Knock-Knock🚪!
Your Claude/ Codex/ Gemini and your teammate's collaborate together in one shared Slack/Discord channel, each staying and working on its own machine.
Fully open source! No shared server required!!
💼 I'm on the job market for tenure-track faculty positions or industry research scientist roles, focusing on HCI, Human-AI interaction, Creativity Support, and Educational Technology.
Please reach out if hiring or aware of relevant opportunities!
RT appreciated!

👩💼 I’m on the job market! As an HCI researcher, I’m open to tenure-track faculty positions and research-focused industry roles.
My research focuses on two key areas:
1⃣ Human-AI collaboration
2⃣Accessibility
For more details, check out my website: https://t.co/7pNdVfw6b6
I’m grateful to work on several interesting projects at @UWCheritonCS that have recently been accepted.
These include three papers, one poster, and one workshop at #UIST2024, and one poster at #IEEEVIS2024
Here’s a glimpse of the work we’ve done together 👇
Collaboration is fun, but how about promoting together? My prospective PhD student @FeliciaFENG4 will present this work this morning at 9am, with my sorry-to-see-you-go MMath student @ryanyen22! @uwhci#chi2024
(4/4) After evaluating CoPrompt, we found it helps programmers efficiently leverage collaborators' work and share information.
Check out our paper!

Thanks to my amazing collaborators @ryanyen22, Yuzhe, @luzc08, @jeffjianzhao, @mingming_fan!
(3/4) 🐣 Introducing CoPrompt!
A pioneering prototype designed to address this emerging challenge!
CoPrompt facilitates “Prompt Co-Engineering” by enabling multi-level hierarchical interactions with contextual prompt information.
(2/4) NL programming is now feasible solution for programmers due to LLM.
Yet, collaborative prompt engineering poses challenges, as programmers must stay updated on collaborators' progress and intents, asking questions like:
"What does this code do?"
"Who changed my code?" 🤔
(1/4) How prompt engineering work in collaborative programming? 🤔
📢 Excited to share our #CHI2024 paper on Supporting Prompt Sharing and Referring in Collaborative Natural Language Programming. We explore designs for programmers using NL to generate code collaboratively!
My advisor Steve Oney at UMich is looking for a postdoc to join our lab! We do research on a range of topics related to HCI + programming tools, more info about our research at https://t.co/TAz9kYgA3Q. If interested, please reach out to Steve by email (listed on his website).
Wakey wakey #UIST2023! Check out how a word can 𝒹𝒶𝓃𝒸𝑒 like a puppy at the Gold Room 11:16am. 🥹 I fail to get a visa but really miss this amazing event. DM's open for random chats!
