¡Gran noticia! La profesora y activista venezolana @ligiabolivar ha sido reconocida con el Premio Rudolf Benario de Derechos Humanos 2026 de la Universidad Friedrich-Alexander de Erlangen-Núremberg, Alemania.

Un reconocimiento merecidísimo. Ligia lleva más de cuatro décadas construyendo el movimiento de derechos humanos en Venezuela y en el mundo.

El jurado de Erlangen-Núremberg destacó especialmente su trabajo con migrantes y refugiados, y su labor de documentación rigurosa y sostenida de las violaciones de derechos humanos en Venezuela, trabajo que realiza hoy en el exilio desde Colombia.

El premio lleva el nombre de Rudolf Benario, estudiante de esta universidad que se opuso a la complicidad con el régimen nazi y fue asesinado en Dachau en 1933.

En un momento en que algunos activistas y organizaciones han elegido la cooptación, la complicidad y la legitimación de un régimen perpetrador de crímenes de lesa humanidad; el premio a Ligia Bolívar tiene un peso adicional, porque es un reconocimiento a su trayectoria, a su firmeza, a su coherencia, a su constancia y a su integridad.
