Panellists discussed joint work & avenues for collaboration between @UN_SPExperts & @achpr_cadhp experts in a context of polarisation, restrictions to #civicspace, and the financial/#liquiditycrisis.
Joint actions & efforts by UN & African experts are a way not only towards advancement of human rights, prevention (early warning & alert), universality, solidarity & complementarity, but also towards efficiency — joint country visits, for instance, are rational & cost-efficient (and new actions are envisioned, including joint research, joint missions to @_AfricanUnion or @UN institutions).
We need “champions” on the African continent to enhance the visibility of the Roadmap and mobilise political will & resources (More 🗒️: https://t.co/DupZl1FOD4).
