Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, will be buried without their heads after forensic teams failed to recover them from the helicopter crash site. Family spokesperson Herbert Chivayo said the victims’ bodies were severely burned and fragmented in the incident.

Forensic examinations reportedly established that remains initially believed to be skulls were not human heads. The family has therefore ruled out a public viewing of the bodies. Chivayo and Muteke will be buried separately but side by side at Glen Forest Cemetery in Harare on Thursday where Africa heads of State are expected to attend.
