Once again, these guys are an independent team that makes their own decisions, but I believe this was smart on @FogoFishing part as:

- Current route of bot’s/inflation would have meant all your time and money going to worthless fish. Something needed to be done. That’s likely why it wasn’t officially launched.
- All USDC will be refunded so no loss of funds. Teams are going to miscalculate and bots suck – but make people whole like they are. Right thing to do.
- Yes, people spent hours or days playing a fun game, and they will be rewarded with the Fogo flames announced. We respect your time. That’s our thanks for the time and testing.
- FISH Classic is a token and it’s yours. Maybe think about it relative to other memecoins and how it was mined and fair launched and distributed and has a max supply. All holders fished for it. And all got it for free with the refund effectively. If somebody really feels strongly, take initiative and build a community around it. Kind of fell on your lap, nothing stopping someone to try to make something of it. (Ask not what someone will give you for it, ask what you can make of it)

And I respect @FogoFishing decision to move forward with the next token and very excited about the next phase with these new protections and supply controls.

People complain about short term unsustainable extractive models, which was the path this was on with the inflation. And this quick decision to refund and reset is proof they want to make this work for the long term for users and retain value in the prize. I’ll always support that.
