Clearly the Iran war had the larger effect on global prices.

Current gas prices are due to global crude shortages primarily. Not due to a lack of refining capacity. A lack of refining capacity would depreciate crude prices, not boost them - it’s above 100$

Ukraine bombing refineries clearly isn’t the cause.

The current fuel crisis is due to crude prices, not a lack of refining capacity. Bombing Russian refineries if anything *depreciates crude*.

@JJ_McCullough And yes, I'm aware of the slightly unpleasant patronization that some Canadians had towards Americans prior to Trump's election, but that's ultimately fairly harmless and I don't think you should be conflating the two.
