@wokal_distance I think this argument is overstated. Most objections to these kinds of things boil down to one of: "it's gross"/"there may be consequences" or "god says it's gross"/"god says there may be consequences." I don't get why "god says" is adding enough to make much difference.
@math4feminists One of the most important leadership skills is motivating those being led without pissing them off. "Bossy" is what we call someone trying to lead but pissing us off.
@ConceptualJames I haven't tried prunes, but in general I find salsa is an excellent way to use fruit that's getting to be over ripe. I've made salsa from everything from kiwis to soursop and most of the time it works out great.
People tend to conflate "Law and Order" with "Rule of Law" and in the process miss that these two principles are often in opposition. Over-reliance on "order" without the constraining "rule" correlates with declining trust and more "rebellion" and thus coercion over time.
@bear_ing Clearly no one was even upset before this terrible and racist film emerged from nowhere and began rampaging across the peaceful and bunny filled wilderness.
@StefanMolyneux They are hanging out in a legal butt-crack between contract law and copywrite law is how. Congress could fix this but they won't because most of the public isn't paying attention and the copywrite industries are strong lobbies.
