We've been around for more than 70 years, serving people and communities in Fiji. We're about people🌍, service🙏, community❤️, trust💙, integrity🍀& life🙌 .
Technology has transformed how we bank, travel and communicate.
So why is blood donation in Fiji still stuck in the past?
12 days. 🩸

Tropical Cyclone Vaianu has left thousands of people displaced across #Fiji, after bringing heavy rain, strong winds and flooding from 7–8 April.
Through @IFRC_DREF support, @FijiRedCross Society aims to assist 10,000 people across the Western, Central/Eastern Divisions and selected outer islands with emergency relief, shelter support, hygiene and health messaging, volunteer mobilisation, and evacuation support where needed.

#WRCD2026 Grateful to @ADBfiji for standing on the side of Humanity. We truly appreciated the opportunity to share our work—and thank you for pledging to Wear Red this Friday in support of World Red Cross Day. ❤️ #OnthesideofHumanity
#WRCD2026 Right now in Nalawa, our volunteers are crossing rivers & walking miles to deliver messages on leptospirosis, typhoid, dengue & diarrhoea.
This is what wearing RED for humanity looks like.
Will you stand with them?
Wear RED this Friday.

We’re proud to recognise our 1,000+ volunteers across Fiji — especially those currently doing assessments on the ground in #TCVaianu affected communities.
If you’d like to support their work, you can make a donation in honour of a volunteer: https://t.co/mIq4mEZHmq
Update from Kadavu, one of the islands affected by #TCVaianu. Our volunteers on the island have started Initial Damage Assessments in affected villages, reaching 12 HH across 4 villages today. Early findings show a need for mobility support for persons with disabilities.
#EarlyWarningForAll | Training and systems from the @ZCRAlliance partnership are being put into action as TC Vaianu passes.
In Moala Village, Nadi, the Disaster Committee is active & the flag system is guiding their response.
Communities are acting early!
#KeepingHumanityAlive
#EarlyWarningforAll| Through the @ZCRAlliance, Sasa Village in Fiji's Ba province, has the skills & confidence to act.
As TC Vaianu brings heavy rain & flood risk, the response is now local — communities stepping up, looking out for each other & taking ownership of their safety.
#EarlyWarningforAll|
Wailotua village has raised the red flag 🔴
The cyclone is here.
And it’s community volunteers — from the village, for the village — leading the response.
This is why this work matters. Support it.
#KeepingHumanityAlive
#Earlywarningforall| White flags raised in Sasa Village, Ba, and Wailotua Village, Tailevu.
A simple flag system—understood and used by the community—signalling that preparedness is in motion.

Community Health Workers from 40 communities in Fiji’s Western Division are being trained to strengthen surveillance.
Over 300 communities nationwide now detect & report health risks early, linking local action to national response.

Much of our work happens quietly.
Preparing communities. Supporting volunteers. Strengthening systems.
It may not always make headlines — but it’s what allows us to respond when it matters most.
Vinaka vakalevu to our volunteers and teams across Fiji who show up, every day❤️.
#Youth | Congrats Senibiau Railala, APYN Academy 2025 grad! 🇫🇯 She helped design She Leads The Change with peers from China, Bangladesh, Malaysia & Pakistan—turning 30 women into climate leaders. 👏

Store clean water now, cover water containers, and be ready to boil or treat water if flooding occurs.

#InternationalVolunteerDay| Our Levuka Branch volunteers know the importance of the sea to their people. They celebrated IVD removing rubbish from the seashore and enjoyed a lovely intimate lunch with close family & friends.
