On Monday we welcomed the TALK ABOUT Trust to school to deliver workshops to our Year 10 students. They are a dedicated youth charity that works across the UK to ensure young people make safer choices around alcohol and other substances. For more information visit @life_stuff.org
Our Year 10 students enjoyed another hands-on experience of the workplace this morning thanks to our local PCSO who talked us through 'a day in the life', reflecting the variety and range of elements that policing work involves.

Richard from AngloAmerican was in school yesterday supporting the learning of GCSE Geography students for their unit on Resource Management, and offering a virtual reality experience of being down a modern day mine!

Well done to our Year 9 girls football team who competed against all 4 Scarborough schools in the annual tournament last week. All the games were close and the team battled hard to get a well fought win against St Augustine's, finishing 4th overall. A great effort from all!
