Thrilled and honored to be awarded the privilege of being an Official Charity Partner of the GAA for 2025!
Where everyone deserves a level playing field - where we all belong - and where everyone has a voice! 2025 has started off on a high! Thank you @officialgaa
200,000 children in schools around Ireland have access to communication boards. There are an estimated 2-3 children in EVERY classroom with a communication need. We remain UNFUNDED ran entirely by volunteers. L

Delighted to have our new playground communication boards from @FindingCharlie installed around the school grounds. Just in time for our first summer programme! So proud to support all forms of communication in St. Peter's. @AsIAmIreland @InclusionIre@dromiskinTT
@irl_open@Education_Ire@1Hildegarde@NormaFoleyTD1@SimonHarrisTD It’s systemic - also happens to many in mainstream who need specialist educational support - refused from language class for one reason , also refused from reading class for another - no ambition - what do I tell Charlie? They cared about your sister but they didn’t about you?
@ms_bridodonnell giving us ALL the feels - tears - laughter - hope - this voice of the lived experience resonating with every single person in the room. So so honored to have you on our team xx
Now here's where it started to get messy .... when ambassador Bríd O' Donnell made the tears flow with a resounding account of living with #VerbalDyspraxia. The next few posts are dedicated to her (& her outstanding mum)
@bsligo@AccidentalAdvo1 I hope the road to Heuston was straightforward! It was the best accidental meet up! Thrilled to bits to meet and hear first hand how their 6 communication boards are doing in their school! Brendan’s school is a testament to evolving what inclusion is all about
@DrCiaraOToole fabulous to see this and at such an affordable rate! Hoping these will complement the @officialgaa communication boards we have designed too!!
We are part of that stat. 7 page appeal letter being sent today after refusal for specialist intervention - how many don’t have the patience, resources, energy to appeal and fight for a basic right to access meaningful education and an excellent education at that @josephamadigan
45% of children with support needs are being failed by the educational system as they face multiple barriers to access their right to school. We expect our leaders to stand up and prioritise this with urgency - we are deeply disturbed by the Department of Education's @Education_Ire plan to remove the criteria enabling access to the support of special education teachers for children with ‘complex needs'. “We cannot do more with less” say the National Principal's Forum @ForumTeaching. Inclusion Ireland has written to the Department seeking an immediate meeting and clarification about these changes which have such potential serious consequences.
