Good call with @MohamedBinZayed. In the current global turmoil, friends are needed more than ever.

We discussed the situation in Iran and the Gulf. We agreed that Iran’s attacks against the United Arab Emirates and other neighboring countries must be stopped once and for all. The Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately and without any restrictions.

Diplomacy is the only viable way forward.

I welcome the ceasefire agreed between Iran and the US last night.

We continue to support all the efforts to end the war and to build this ceasefire into a more permanent arrangement in the Strait of Hormuz and in the whole Middle East.

I had a call with President of Iran, @drpezeshkian. We discussed the situation in Iran and the Middle East. A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution are urgently needed.

I emphasized the need to end the strikes on neighbouring countries and restore freedom of navigation in the Strait Hormuz.

Despite the disagreements, it is important to maintain dialogue.

UAE: @Ulkoministerio’n maakuljetus @FinnairSuomi lennolle lähti Dubaista klo 22 ja ylitti rajan Omaniin klo 5 aamulla paikallista aikaa. Bussisaattueessa on noin 160 matkustajaa ja UM:n ryhmä. Osa suomalaisista on siirtynyt omatoimisesti Omaniin. Lento lähdössä ~klo 15 (UTC+4).
